    • QiqoChat has a free group calendar tool where anyone can post information about any upcoming event. The tool also makes it very simple to schedule a new audio/video chat on any topic for group members. Notifications go out to all members of the group.

    • Discussion Forums and Email Lists You Might Use
      • DGroups - a hosted forum service with email list and web storage of messages, files and member directory. Intended for international development. You must belong to a member organization or be sponsored by one of those organizations to get a DGroup. We also have a page here on the wiki to share your experiences with DGroups.
      • Google Groups - Free, ad supported forum with full email capability, web pages
      • Yahoo Groups - Free, ad supported forum with full email capability, member directory, file storage, web pages and simple polls
      • OnlineGroups.Net (http://onlinegroups.net) provides email lists with a web forum interface that support file-sharing and chat. Groups are on their own website with no ads. Sites with only public groups are free.
      • GroupServer (http://groupserver.org), the software that powers OnlineGroups.Net is available free and open source.
      • QiqoChat has a new tool for group conversations which works both online and via email. The tool feels like a more live version of a discussion forum, because you can see new responses streaming in. Responses are usually shorter than standard email threads, because it makes it simple to break up long replies when they contain several separate ideas. This enables the conversation to go in-depth while remaining structured.
