Louisville Standards Scenery Materials

Ballast: Scenic Express #50 Light Gray Ballast, Natural Stone Aggregate*

Track paint: Rustoleum Camo Earth Brown

Basic ground cover: Silflor Static Grass, blend of Autumn and Late Summer*

Dirt color: Behr Premium Plus Interior Flat Deep Base 1300, Paint & Primer in One (Home Depot)

Facia: Rustoleum Semi-Gloss Black (Home Depot)


Switch Machines*

Louisville Standards require either Blue Point or Tortoise Switch Machines to throw turnouts.


DCC Specialties PSX Circuit Breaker*

One required for each module. Can also be purchased as a 4-pack to save money. 


Buzzer for the required PSX Circuit Breakers*

Optional for the PSX breakers. Beeps when there is a short. Easy to install. 


Anderson Power Poles

EIGHT (8) required for each module (4 each on the main bus, 4 each on the accessory bus)


Phone Surface Mount Jack - J11 / RJ12, Data/Voice, 6P6C (6 Pin 6 Conductor)

TWO (2) required for each module, one on each end.


AC/DC Buck stepdown Module To DC 5V 9V 12V 15V Rectifier Filter Volt Converter 

Convert the 16Vac from the Accessory bus and convert it to the desired DC output for accessories on your module. For instance, convert to 9V for LED lighting, 12V for a Tortoise Machine, etc.
