Vampires have existed for centuries but Selina is the first to be turned through a series of chemical experimentations rather than traditional means. As her very existence is called into question, her continued fight for survival isn't for her own benefit but rather for Emilia's.

Jamie and her husband never really got along but she always thought it would end in a messy divorce, not her being unknowingly fed his remains in the form of a hamburger. As she grapples with the fact that her husband is gone (and she just ate him) there's one lingering thought she can't seem to get out of her head. That was one damn good burger.
