Supervisor

Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Sh. Basill has dedicated his life to educating and mentoring the youth in North America. He has been working with Sh. Aous to develop and mentor the youth through education.

One of the original students of Sh. Aous and a Knowledgeseeker Youth, Seattle, Admin. He is an engineer, who has been taught  and mentored for the past few years by Sh. Aous. He is very responsible, trustworthy and knowledgeable. A great asset and mentor for the youth of the community.

TEACHER

Also a graduate of the Knowledgeseekers program, Mohammed has been taught and mentored on the program since the age of 10. He has a strong understanding of the Knowledgeseekers Program material,  and is one of Sh. Aous's top students. Now, 7 years later, he has also become a teacher and mentor to the youth.

A graduate of the Knowledgeseekers Program, Ali Manhel has been taught and mentored by Sh. Aous since the age of 9. He has a strong understanding of the Knowledgeseekers Program material,  and is one of Sh. Aous's top students. Today, 7 years later, Br. Ali Manhel has become a teacher and mentor to the youth.

A graduate of the Knowledgeseekers Program, Sayed Mousa is one of Sh. Aous's top students, always hungry for knowledge, very social and inquisitive. A college student and club soccer player, he brings discipline, consistency and fun to the team, as well as a wealth of knowledge from studying and constantly doing mubahathah with sh. Aous.

TEACHER

A graduate of the Knowledgeseekers Program, Br. Ahmed is also one of Sh. Aous's top students, always inquisitive, always striving to learn, always questioning. A great mentor for the kids, he also  brings a wealth of knowledge from studying under and being mentored by sh. Aous for many years.

Br. Ali is one of the most dedicated students and Sh. Aous considers him to be one of his top 5 students. He has studied under sh. Aous for 4 years, in which he has been very diligent, did not miss a single class. He not only did the homework, he understood the material and was tested on teaching it.

Teaches 5-6 year old's with sister Zainub. Br. Mahdi brings an excitement and energy to everything that he does. An engineer by trade, he is dedicated to providing a good environment and education for the kids.

SIster Zainub has experience teaching at other Islamic schools. She is a mother of two children who are great examples for the children of the community. She currently is also a teacher at Rise Academy. She started out as a volunteer and staff support in 2024 and now she is teaching the 5-6 year old's.

SIster Zainub has extensive experience teaching at other Islamic schools. She is currently a teacher at Rise Academy as well. She brings a great deal of experience and expertise in teaching the 5-6 year old's. She is currently helping support in the background.

TEACHER

Sister Zainab teaches the 7-12 and 13-17 year olds. She has taken the Knowledgeseekers Program with Sh. Aous for 4 years and is one of Sh. Aous' top students. She went through the Knowledgeseekers Program successfully, she demonstrated a great understanding of the material and she was tested extensively on her ability to teach the material.
