For this project, I researched an emerging technology called Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) and created a PowerPoint presentation. I explored how BCIs work, why they are important, their benefits, and risks, and recent advancements in the field. This project also strengthened my research, presentation, and communication skills.
I chose this because BCIs has the potiential to transform healthcare and improve the lives of people with disabilities. I was interested in learning how computers can coomunicate directly with the human brain and how this technology may change the future.
BSIs can allow people with paralysis to control computers or prostetic limbs using only their brain signals. This technology has the potiential to restore independence and improve quality of life fo many people.
Through this project, I learned that Brain-Computer Interfaces are muchmore than futuristic idea, they are becoming a real technology withthe potential to improve the lives of people living with paralysis, neurological disorders, and other disabilities. I also learned that BCIs raise important questions about privacy, ethics, and cybersecurity that be must carefully addressed as the technology advances. Resarching this topic showed me how quickly emerging technologies are evolving and how they can reshape healthcare and everyday life.
