There is no shortage of talent when it comes to racing these days. Luckily for us, we didn't have to go far to find our latest driver, as she comes directly from Krone lineage! Please welcome to the team, AJ Sprout! AJ has proven herself in an extremely short amount of time. With only a handful of races in go karts so far, she has shown her ability to learn a new kart and a new track almost instantly. At her rate of progression, AJ has shown her determination to find lap time in her young age. She's not legal to drive on the roads yet, but she's already quicker than many veteran kart racers.

Krone Autosport has begun a new venture, in the formation of the Ignition Horizon League. IHL is focused on providing members with a unique take on sim racing, featuring heavy hitting United States based series and classes. Initially, Formula 2000, Formula Atlantic, and Vintage Trans Am are featuring on the calendars.
2/3/25
The annual Touring Kart Championship Daytona 500 takes place this week, with Krone Autosport returning to the event. Steven Krone heads up the program, fielding his #2 Clear Purple Driving Mustang. Pierce Krone will be calling strategy for the team while behind the wheel of the #5 Clear Purple Driving Mustang. Joining the team for this event, is Jonah Espey. Jonah, a regular with the TKC, will field the #95 Clear Purple Driving Camaro.
While the team is in full preparation mode, they have formed pre-race alliances with Haas Racing, boosting their group of cars working together to 6.
The race takes place this Wednesday, February 5th, at 7pm EST.
11/17/24
Pierce has won the 2024 ISRL Macau GP. After dominating the initial qualifying and race, Pierce continued his form and easily took the checkered by 11 seconds.
11/14/24
We're qualified for the GP.
After starting in 6th place due to a qualifying infringement, Pierce made a bold move for the lead into Lisboa on the opening lap. Having nothing but clear track ahead, he went on to win the qualifying race by 11 seconds.
"We played around with the setup a bit in practice to better suit the conditions, but it only made us slower. This car has been quick over the years, with minimal changes wherever we race. Macau requires a delicate balance of low-speed corner grip and straight-line speed, which we've found the sweet spot for both. Even in the wet, this car has a great balance, which allowed me to push hard for the lead early and build up the gap.
I fully expect to be passed for the lead at the start, but we'll have the ability to get the run through Mandarin and lead into Lisboa easily if all goes clean. From there, it's up to us to control the race and win back-to-back years of this event." - Pierce Krone
The GP is this Sunday. Due to winning the opening qualifying race with the fastest lap, Pierce has pole position in the #15 for the big race.
7/5/24
Our first in-house Street Stock race, the Firework 75, took place this Independence Day weekend, with both Co-Founders Pierce Krone and Steven Krone taking part. Those noticing a familiar scheme on this article are indeed seeing correctly. The #55 came back out to party, with Pierce once again taking the wheel. "Just over four years ago, this car quickly started our winning ways. I missed it, after all these years and different cars." - Pierce. Steven, meanwhile, was not part of the original event.
While originally watching our first event, Steven was behind the wheel only days later. As the driver of the #4 car in the Firework 75, he played a very strong strategy on track, leading to an opportunity for the win. Coming to the final lap, Pierce, sitting in third place, misjudged a run. This led to both cars finding the wall, and any shot at the win was over. "I take 100% of the blame for this. I had the run going through the final corners of lap 74, which I was going to use on exit to push Steven to a clear lead. However, I came up too early, which made us loose and both find the wall. It was my fault, and I am sorry that I ruined a win for the team."
Despite this incident, both cars managed to crawl around and still finish strongly. Pierce brought the #55 home in second, while Steven finished in third with the #4. This is not the last time these cars will see the track, as there are plans for league activities in the future. Stay tuned.
2/5/24
Through invitation, Krone Autosport will be fielding entries in the upcoming Touring Kart Championship special event: Their Daytona 500. Not going into a gun fight with a knife, our co-owners Steven Krone and Pierce Krone will be giving it their all for the win. Steven, in the #2, will be featuring primary sponsorship with Krone Autosport, as we look to increase our online league presence. Pierce, in the #15, will be featuring our primary partners and his 2024 open-wheel teams on his car.
As traditional with our special events, we'll be featuring one-off paint schemes. This time around, our cars will feature designs not dissimilar to classic rock and pop albums.
The racing kicks off on February 12th, at 7pm est. Livestreams will be announced closer to date.

A new endeavor sees Krone Autosport enter in an entirely different type of league. Built with Forza Horizon 5 as the backbone by our good friend and part-time driver for KA, Andrew Royer. The league focuses on car builds, rather than outright skill and pace. The idea? To build a league that features extremely close, hard, and fair competition.
Season 1 features four Rounds, with four races per Round. After Round 1 and Round 2, Pierce Krone could relax, as he had one hand on the championship. At the conclusion of Round 3, Pierce has amassed enough points to clinch the championship. "While Forza does not offer the most realistic racing, this league itself forces you to think about your car. The budget and performance caps make each Round entertaining by keeping the field extremely close together on performance. With a field this close, it becomes more about focusing on the peaks of your car, making every small change to take victories. Our Ford in Round 1 and our Peugeot in Round 2 were both extremely fast. Round 3, the Volvo was not the quickest car, but it was quick enough to still bring home solid points. Round 4 will be a good time to test for Season 2, which we look forward to building our driver roster for."
Along with taking part in the inaugural season, Krone Autosport has also launched Krone Performance, which will become the title of our outfit from Season 2. Krone Performance was created to develop existing vehicles into raw excitement for the masses. Stay tuned for more details regarding Krone Performance in the future.
7/3/23
With the start of the VRX World Series this week, the eliminations to set the field have taken place. Mixed results created interesting strategy, with one possible situation overlooked. It all began with Daytona qualifying, which saw the #57 of Steven Krone run a 52.235 second lap, which was good enough for pole. That was the case, however, the next lap turned was by the #5 of Pierce Krone, which pulled a 52.223 second lap. This was our first ever front-row lockout in a league event. "I crossed the line and saw that I went P1. Who did I beat? Crap, Steven. Wanted him to grab the pole so bad, but at least we were both up front. We also managed to show just how much pace we have to the field, which was also a mistake this early on in the league. Oh well, there are worse problems to have!" - Pierce Krone
Steven crossed the line in 14th, and Pierce in 20th. Both took damage on the last lap due to a massive crash. Next up, Charlotte.
Pierce was slightly upset over the incident, which showed in his qualifying lap. P1 again, but by a healthy margin. This pace continued into the race, but due to traffic, the #5 came home in 3rd. Steven came home in 20th after a fairly quiet race by comparison.
With these results, both Steven and Pierce qualified for the Series, as there were 20 spots up for grabs with 70 drivers taking part. The league kicks off this Friday, with Chicagoland opening the 8 week league.
6/29/23
Returning to our stock car efforts, Krone Autosport has entered the VRX World Series in 2023. This 8-week league kicks off with an elimination race evening to set the field.
As our iRacing director of operations, Steven Krone will be our Team Principal for the series and also driving the #57 kroneautosport.com F150. Acting as lead strategist, Pierce Krone will be driving the #5 3RK/The Ball Joints/kroneautosport.com F150.
The league elimination races take place tomorrow, with both drivers looking to make the field.
7/16/22
As summer progresses on, Krone Autosport has decided to open up a new series. The Formula 4 Northeast Regional Presented by Krone Autosport is a spec series, featuring tracks in the Northeast United States. Season 1 takes place at three venues over 4 weeks. Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Watkins Glen International, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway all play host to Season 1 races.
6/26/22
As the inaugural season of the Sim Spark Racing League reaches the final race of the season, Pierce Krone has built a big enough gap of points at the top of the standings to clinch the title.
"I had zero intentions of competing in this league come the day before Season 1 began. However, our good friends at Silvan Motorsports managed to convince me to change my mind. All preparations are now going towards our Season 2 efforts." - Pierce Krone
Season 1 concludes later today from Talladega, with Season 2 commencing in just a few weeks.
6/26/22
It was announced that due to low entries in the Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship, the season would conclude after the Canadian GP. Unfortunately, due to the opposition's eagerness, the #15 took significant damage from a deliberate wreck attempt on lap 5 and lap 20. In the end, Pierce's KA22 held on to second place.
Due to the weak driving standards allowed by the series' officials, Krone Autosport will be taking our Driver's and Constructor's titles and leaving Southern Roads in a cloud of tire smoke. "It's unfortunate that Southern Roads allows driving standards as low as this. As our standards do not match up with theirs, we've decided to compete elsewhere now that the season has concluded." - Pierce Krone.
6/9/22
For the seventh time in as many races, Pierce Krone brought his #15 KA22 home in a Grand Slam performance. While the setup changes for this race did not work as planned, that did not stop the raw pace extending further into the 2022 Championship.
Next up, Round 9 of the Championship next week from Canada.
6/9/22
The most recent race in the Sim Spark Racing League saw a dominant #15 start dead last on the grid. Having missed qualifying, there was work to be done.
For the fourth time in four races however, Pierce Krone pulled off the win. With only a handful of races remaining in the season, the title is looking quite promising for Krone Autosport.
5/27/22
With Pierce's win at the Botniaring this week, Krone Autosport has officially reached 100 league race victories. In just over two years of operation, we've gone from a part-time iRacing team to a fully-fledged multi-series powerhouse.
Our goal was to reach 100 wins before 2022's World Racing Day (Monaco, Indianapolis, Charlotte) in "The Drive For 100".
Thanks to Andrew, Casey, Mark, Sam R, Sam G, and Shane for their efforts in earning us victories. A big shout out to our Principals Steven and Pierce as well for their leadership in our operations.
5/27/22
Round 2 of the Southern Roads USF2000 Series took place at the Botniaring. In near identical conditions to Monaco, the #15 of Pierce Krone pulled off a Grand Slam, taking the win in dominant fashion.
Not only was this yet another win for Pierce, but it also marked Krone Autosport's 100th league race victory.
5/27/22
Quite possibly the trickiest race circuit in the world, Monaco played host to the 7th race in the 2022 Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship. As if the circuit wasn't difficult enough, the skies opened, leaving the streets with extensive standing water.
"Monaco was always going to be a challenge. The KA22's high downforce design should have suited the circuit just fine. One variable however apart from the rain. Monaco is, and always will be, my favorite circuit. The fast, flowing nature of the design just links up for me. It is truly epic." - Pierce.
For the sixth time in a row, the #15 was wheeled to a Grand Slam. The championship lead continues to increase. Next up? Baku.
5/23/22
After starting ninth in the third round of the Sim Spark Racing League NASCAR season, the #15 was taken out twice in the opening laps of the race. This led to an unscheduled pit stop, which effectively took Pierce out of the race.
However, due to the unscheduled stop coming at a unique time of the race, Pierce was able to pull off an overcut, taking the lead after the scheduled stop completion. From there, Pierce drove off to the win.
Three races, three completely different tracks, one winner. Round 4 comes this week from the Charlotte Oval.
5/22/22
This past week saw Pierce Krone pick up his fifth Grand Slam in succession from the Southern Roads Spanish Grand Prix. With a decent update to the KA22 brought to this race, the team learned that the upgrades worked as planned.
Round 7 of the 2022 Championship is next week from Monaco.
5/13/22
The Southern Roads League kicked off a new USF2000 series yesterday with a tricky race at Korea National. A rain shower between Practice and Qualifying made the circuit quite damp. While slicks were still the choice of tire, the changeover to wets was not very far off. Pierce ended up topping Practice, winning the Pole in Qualifying, and led every lap of the race with the fastest lap on his way to a Grand Slam.
Race 2 comes in two weeks from Botniaring Short.
5/9/22
Continuing the theme of last-minute changes, Pierce Krone decided to enter Krone Autosport in the Sim Spark Racing League's inaugural NASCAR season. Taking place at Daytona, the #15 was strong in practice, before topping the charts in qualifying. Early on in the race, Pierce was held in the pits for two laps due to a technical infringement, losing valuable ground in the 100-lap race.
However, Krone Autosport does not give up that easily. Pierce methodically worked his way onto the lead lap with some help from our friends at Silvan Motorsports, Mark and Shane. With only a handful of laps to go, Pierce found himself out front. He held onto the lead, taking the victory by a car length. "This was unexpected to say the least. I'm not a fan of iRacing physics, so to have the pace in qualifying was a shock to the whole team. Then, to pull off a brilliant recovery to win from almost three laps down was nearly unthinkable. We kept our #15 The Hot Rod Apprentice Mustang clean of damage. I kept my mind in check. We took what we deserved after that drive."
Sim Spark Racing League Season 1 will be a part-time endeavor for Krone Autosport. Race 2 is this week from Southern National.
5/9/22
A last-minute change of plans for the Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship saw the venue change from Miami to Indianapolis. The hometown of Krone Autosport, it was time to go for the win in our home Grand Prix. For the fourth round in succession, Pierce Krone unleashed the raw pace in the KA22, pulling off yet another Grand Slam. "It was a bit sad to hear of the change from Miami, but when we found out that we were going to be racing in our backyard, it was all hands-on deck to win our home GP. The KA22 was on rails yet again. We made some subtle tweaks to the setup in an effort to find low speed, corner exit grip. While these changes did not necessarily help or hurt, the data will be analyzed before Barcelona to further enhance our car. We have one heck of a car this year, with a very strong plug-and-play capability. The high downforce venues seem to be a better fit, but this car is stupid fast everywhere we go!" - Pierce Krone
Next up, Round 5 from the Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya.
4/27/22
With Krone Autosport pulling support of the HHRL Cup Series league, our remaining driver Casey Wyatt took over the reins of the program. In a superb drive, he led 60 laps at Talladega on way to taking his first win of the 2022 season.
Now with a guaranteed playoffs spot, the #13 is a serious contender for the title. While our series support ended long ago, we always have our drivers' backs. Cheers to the #13 team on this outstanding performance!
4/22/22
Round Four of the 2022 Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship saw Pierce Krone on the top step of the podium for the third race in succession. The #15 KA22 having topped each session again for the third successive Grand Slam in a row. "Practice was a little tricky with the rain and standing water all over the circuit. We went with a wet setup for the race, just to have dry conditions in Qualifying and the start of the race. Our pace was strong throughout the weekend, and our KA22 continues to set the benchmark in this year's Championship." - Pierce Krone
Our points lead has extended, with Pierce's gap over P2 now at 33 points. Round Five takes place in two weeks' time.
4/12/22
Round Three of the 2022 Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship saw Pierce Krone pull off his second consecutive Grand Slam. Building upon the setup direction from Dubai, the #15 Krone Autosport Honda KA22 found significant pace from the start of Free Practice. Finding more time in qualifying, he went on to lead every single lap of the race. "From being a late addition to the 2022 Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship, we were not expecting much early on in the year. Maybe a few points here and there at best. Problem is, the KA22 that we've brought to the 2022 championship is bloody quick! The car itself felt fast in Bahrain, but we've only begun to unlock its true potential. Even as the rain fell during the latter part of the Australian GP, we were still finding grip on the dry line with slicks. If we can keep this momentum going, we will be looking very good in the points come Spain and Monaco." - Pierce Krone
The points standings took a hit this week, with second place in the championship failing to score a single point. Round Four takes place next Wednesday from Imola.
3/24/22
Round Two of the 2022 Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship kicked off this week in Dubai. The call for Dubai was to build upon the speed of Bahrain, while finding better drivability in the race setup. If executed well, the opportunity to lead the championship was on offer.
In the end, Pierce Krone delivered, pulling off a Grand Slam in our second series start! "The #15 KA22 was fast from the start of Practice, allowing us to work on our race setup. We took a huge step forward this week. Winning by over half a minute with a pit stop also factored in, our pace is very promising as we look to the upcoming rounds. Bring it on." - Pierce Krone
Round Three from Australia takes place in two week's time.
3/18/22
The 2022 Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship kicked off this week in Bahrain. Our #1 Driver Pierce Krone had great pace in his #15 Krone Autosport Honda KA22, taking top honors in Practice and Qualifying. In the race, all looked to be going well until a puncture on lap 5 left the #15 falling down the order. A late strategy call left a podium available, with Pierce recovering to 2nd place.
"Lots of positives from our first outing. Our Ligier chassis and Honda engine are a match made in heaven. It is only a matter of time until we unlock the full potential of our cars." - Pierce Krone
Round Two at Dubai takes place in a week's time.
3/11/22
We are pleased to announce something well overdue. Krone Autosport is finally going open wheel racing!
We've joined the 2022 Southern Roads Formula Pro Championship. Following along with the 2022 Formula 1 calendar, this offers us a new challenge.
Krone Autosport Honda will be one of a few new teams on the grid, with our resident formula racing nerd Pierce Krone as our acting Team Principal and #1 Driver.
"Excited about this new venture that our Krone Autosport sim team is taking part in. It has only taken two years for us to finally end up in a formula series, which is about time! Our success in stock cars, GT, and Prototypes has come as a bit of a surprise. Formulas are our specialty. The Formula Pro was a logical step for us to take. Let the fun begin!" - Pierce Krone
The 2022 Championship begins this week with Bahrain as the opening venue. Interested in joining our Formula Pro team? We need drivers and strategists! Find out more under our "Join The Team" page!
3/4/22
The HHRL Cup Series takes a turn for the worse, as the series has decided to enact a new rule, rendering considerate driving useless. As a result of these unfortunate decisions, Team Principal Pierce Krone decided to pull his #02 from all oval races until the playoffs. "It is unfortunate that the HHRL has decided to go down this route. Anyone that saw the stewards explode with anger probably had a good laugh. The plan was to race all four of our cars this season. Due to their oversight, that is no longer the plan." - Pierce Krone.
The #02 will take part in the road events, since these races effectively have a different ruleset. If the car qualifies for the playoffs, it will be around for the final races of the season. The #13, #44, and #2 will all continue as normal.
2/28/22
Due to the nature of early season over eagerness, the #13 and #02 were both taken out late in the Daytona 250. Both recovered, with the #02 finishing 4th and the #13 in 6th. The team's speed was unmatched, with both Krone cars showing brief moments of dominance. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be.
This week, the HHRL Cup Series moves on to California and the Auto Club Speedway. Points are the name of the game, with both cars looking to rise up the leaderboard. "Last week, both Casey and I proved that we had the pace to get up front and drive away. Our drafting was superior to the rest of the field simply due to our confidence in each other. It isn't easy shoving the car ahead when doing 190 miles per hour!" - Pierce Krone
Coverage begins at 8:40pm EST on Monday, February 28th.
2/15/22
The 2022 Happy Hour Racing League Cup Season starts next week with the Daytona 250. New for this season, we will be featuring a pre-race article before every event.
A new season dawns. New partners, new drivers, and new rules. Coming off an unheard-of rookie season, Krone Autosport looks to hit the ground running in 2022 to defend our driver's and team's 2021 titles.
This year, Team Principal Pierce Krone is looking for more success overall in the team. "While we had two drivers with a legitimate shot at the title last year, I'd like to see at least two of us in the Final 4 at Phoenix. With Casey and Steven returning in 2022, I know these guys are more than capable. Casey's confidence in the Duels at Daytona goes to show he is ready. With Andrew coming into the KA HHRL program, we've seen his level of skill and believe he has what it takes to succeed in a championship-winning organization."
The momentum from 2021 has continued into 2022. Pierce has won every one-off he's taken part in since the 2021 Cup Season concluded. Opening Daytona 250 practice had Pierce and Casey less than 0.000 (no, this is not a typo!) of a second apart at the top of the timesheet. In qualifying for the Daytona 250, the #02 took second and the #13 took third. Pierce went on to win the first of two duel races, clinching pole position for the Daytona 250 as long as he finished the second duel. In the end, Pierce decided to risk his car and pole position for another win. Proving that his first duel win was no fluke, he took his #02 to victory lane again in the second duel.
"I was thrilled to win the first duel and take pole position for the Daytona 250. Originally in the second duel, I was going to sit back and make sure I kept my car in one piece. However, there was a problem. I became bored, so I went to the front. Ended up in the right place at the right time again, sweeping the qualifying races! I know what I have to do to win when it comes to the 250. Casey is the only car on track I could work with in a draft. We will be doing everything to get the #02, #2, #44 or the #13 the win."
The HHRL Daytona 250 is on Monday, February 21st at 8:40pm EST.
2/11/22
The 2022 HHRL Cup Season is officially underway, with the Duels at Daytona having set the lineup for the Daytona 250.
For the second year in a row, Pierce Krone claimed victory in Duel 1. This put him on pole for the 250 as long as he survived to finish Duel 2. In Duel 2, the #02 could have sat in the back, but Pierce went for it. In the end, he scored the win in Duel 2 as well.
"Really proud of the effort Krone Autosport puts into this program. From our strategists, drivers, everybody! Our cars were a force to be reckoned with in 2021. Now, we're putting a statement out for 2022 as well. Casey and I managed to find each other on track quite easily today. Our two-car draft pace was strong early on in both Duels. Let's see what happens in the Daytona 250!"
So, the lineup for Daytona is now set. Pierce Krone leads the field to green with Casey's #13 starting right behind him in third. Will they finally break the Superspeedway curse? Find out in the season opener!
2/3/22
A very late addition to the HHRL Thursday Winter League finale at Michigan in Xfinity cars, Pierce decided to take part. Having pace in practice and the heat races, he stuck it out to take part in the feature.
Involved in an early incident, the #5x decided to pit later than everyone else under caution for enough fuel to make the finish. Ultimately, this was not the final yellow, throwing that strategy entirely out the window.
In the end, a Green-White-Checkered 2 lap dash was on tap. Pierce restarted in 4th but was the only car to take 4 tires under caution. This proved to be the deciding factor, as he jumped out to the lead and had enough grip to withstand the pushing from other cars behind to take his second win in the season.
"I did not think that I had the pace to win this one. With the field so close, anyone could have made a move at the end. I knew the #58 was restarting on tires with a heat cycle in them, so I had to push hard on my new set for track position. Once I got the lead off turn 2, I only looked back to defend from the runs behind. Two wins in two starts is pretty cool though."
Two wins in two starts, continuing his 100%-win record during the winter season. The duels kick off the 2022 HHRL Cup Season next Thursday, with our four-strong team ready to go for back-to-back titles.
1/20/22
As the final minutes of practice for the HHRL Winter Series event at Jefferson Speedway ticked away, Pierce decided that he would take part.
Having zero prior experience in the Xfinity car/package and two previous Jefferson Speedway track champions in attendance, things were not looking great.
Always rising to the occasion, Pierce topped practice, won the heat race, and took the feature race from pole.
"Not going to lie, I had zero idea of what to expect tonight. Hearing that we had multiple track champions taking part, I felt my chances dwindling. I kept my head down, confidence in check, and let my adaptability do the talking."
Tonight's race is the only one of the Winter Season that Pierce will be taking part in, leaving him with a perfect 100%-win ratio.
1/20/22
As the 2022 HHRL Cup Series quickly approaches, the time has come to announce our driver lineup.
Pierce Krone returns in the #02 Mustang, attempting to win his second consecutive title. Casey Wyatt returns in the #13 Mustang, building upon a strong first season with the team. Steven Krone returns in his #2 Mustang as well.
New to the team this season is Andrew Royer. Andrew brings a wealth of experience and talent to the wheel of his #44 Mustang. Primary partnership from Andrew's YouTube Channel, The Hot Rod Apprentice, will be on the #44 and #02 this season.
Daytona is only a few weeks away. The drivers are ready. The team is ready. Our time is now.
12/15/21
As the team has pulled out of Global Enduro prematurely due to league disbandment, we are pleased to announce that Krone Autosport is one of the founding teams of a new league. Formed entirely by members of Krone Autosport and Silvan Motorsports, the two teams wanted to make a place where drivers from all over the world can put their skills to the test in all sorts of GT machinery.
This new iRacing adventure sees Krone Autosport fielding two cars, with Pierce Krone leading in his #15. In addition, we are also fielding Krone Autosport Team Overspeed. James Paisnel has been given the honors of running Overspeed after his contributions to our Driver's Paradise Racing League and Global Enduro programs. Joining him will be David Pfeffer, who is new to the Krone Autosport organization. A big welcome to David!
Both teams will be fielding Porsche 911 RSRs in the first season, as we return to our GTE roots with Porsche.
Season 1 kicks off in Q1 of 2022. There is still time to join the league! Check out our open positions at https://sites.google.com/view/krone-autosport/join-the-team
11/17/21
While the #02 was the quickest car in the 2021 HHRL Cup Series finale, the title decision came down to pit strategy. As the final yellow came out just outside the fuel window, Pierce gave up his second place restart for the tail end of the line. Why? For three-tenths a gallon of fuel.
With 15 laps remaining, he caught the leader. Both the #02 and #11 were fighting hard for the lead (and the title). Only 6 to go, and the #02 nearly binned it out of turn 4. Two seconds to make up and time running short, the next six miles were the toughest of the season. Three laps to go, and Pierce retook the lead exiting turn 4. The #11 nearly lost it on exit in the dirty air, then pitted as there wasn't enough fuel to make the finish.
That left Pierce and his #02 with two miles left in the season to coast around to the finish. In the end, he took home his 25th win and the 2021 Happy Hour Racing League Cup Series championship.
The good news didn't end there however, as Krone Autosport also claimed the team's championship as well. All this in our rookie season!
11/2/21
Both the #02 and #13 had problems at the HHRL Cup race in Texas, neither Pierce or Casey able to pull of a win. At Martinsville, Pierce took his 24th win of the season as Casey came home 6th.
The final race of the 2021 HHRL Cup Season at Phoenix is in less than a week's time. Pierce is the sole KA car with a chance at the title.
10/19/21
In HHRL, Pierce led nearly every lap of a caution-less race at Texas on his way to win #23 of the season. The surprising part? No taste. No smell. A fever over 102 degrees. Yep, Covid.
10/12/21
In HHRL, Pierce pulled of his 4th Grand Slam of the season in the process of taking the road course crown. The #02 has been to victory lane at every road venue this year.
10/5/21
In HHRL, it was looking like a back to back win until the final turn, where Pierce was left to dry without any help. In the end, Casey's #13 came home 5th, with Pierce's #02 in 6th.
HHRL races at the Charlotte Road Course to end the round of 12. If Pierce wins at Charlotte, he will have swept every road course this season.
9/28/21
In HHRL, Pierce and his #02 played strategy to perfection at Las Vegas, bringing his win tally to 21 for the season while locking himself into the Round of 8.
9/20/21
In HHRL, Pierce fought off over-aggressive drivers in a crash filled race at Bristol to take his 20th win of the season. Casey fought from 5 laps down to finish 7th. HHRL will be taking place at Las Vegas to kick off the round of 12.
9/14/21
Both the 13 and the 02 had bad luck with damage at Richmond. Casey finished 6th and Pierce finished 2nd after driving through the pack on the final overtime. Both are locked into the next round of the playoffs however.
DPRL returns this week with Michigan, and HHRL returns next week at Bristol.
9/10/21
The Ferraris of Ed, Pierce, Mark, and Shane finished 2nd and 5th in the Global Enduro 4 hour season opener.
In HHRL, Pierce opened up the playoffs with his 19th win of the season at Darlington (Brookdale). Casey came home in 5th, putting both drivers into the next round.
8/23/21
In HHRL, a great race early on for both Casey and Pierce led to an early 1-2, but this fell apart in the first round of pit stops. Some wrecking happened throughout the field, and both cars were involved in multiple crashes. In the end, Pierce gambled on a 2 tire call for a green white checkered restart. The gamble paid off, and he took win #18 of the season. Casey brought his #13 home in 7th.
8/16/21
Spurred on by the turn of events at Pocono a day earlier, Pierce blew the field away with his #02 on the Indianapolis Road Course in the HHRL. Leading all but 4 laps from pole, he drove off to win by almost a minute. Casey fought hard, but in the end held onto his starting spot of 7th in his #13.
8/9/21
In HHRL at Watkins Glen, Pierce took pole as the solo KA entry this week. On the receiving end of contact into turn 1, the #02 XPRTree Mustang was well off the qualifying pace. Even worse was the spin passing a lapped car into turn 1, leading to a 12 second deficit.
Due to some clever strategy, Pierce fought back to a 6 second gap, but it was not looking like a win. The last opportunity came when the leader caught the tail of the field. Pierce saw this, and immediately went for the undercut at the final pit stop. The leader missed his box 2 laps later, allowing the #02 to cruise past into the final laps of the race. With 8 to go, it was an unexpected turn of events. With significant floor and splitter damage, the #02 took the 16th win of the HHRL Cup Season, extending an already unreachable regular season points lead.
Next week sees the series move on to Indianapolis for the second to last road course race of the year.
8/5/21
In addition to the Global Enduro and Krone Autosport partnership for the upcoming 4 Hour Endurance Series, Silvan Motorsports joins the collaboration to field a second car. The #51 Ferrari 488 GTE will be driven by Shane White and Mark Wright, alongside Pierce Krone and Ed Bailey in the #15 Ferrari 488 GTE.
The Series kicks off at Road America on August 29th.
8/3/21
In HHRL, Pierce was spun from the front at Hickory in race 1, while Casey brought home two solid midfield results. Pierce's #02 returned to win race 2, but came up 3 points shy of the HROC title. Well done Brent Owen of Owen Motorsport on the title. The Cup Series returns on Monday from Watkins Glen.
7/23/21
The Global Enduro Group has a new 4 hour Endurance Series on the way, with races at Road America, Silverstone, Sebring, Road Atlanta, and Nurburgring.
For this series, Krone Autosport and Global Enduro have partnered up to bring more entries to the series, with Ed Bailey joining Pierce in the #15 Krone Autosport/GE Ferrari 488 GTE.
This series sees a swap in manufacturers as well, as we begin our transition to Ferrari for our GT programs.
7/22/21
The quickest car in the field at New Hampshire, Pierce spun on lap 1, leading to a series of unfortunate events in the HHRL event. Halfway through the race, a disconnection put him out of the running, leaving the #02 to finish 10th. Casey meanwhile brought his #13 home in 3rd, with the race finishing in complete darkness.
By scoring at least one point in the race however, Pierce clinched the HHRL Regular Season Championship with 4 races to go before the playoffs.
7/12/21
In HHRL at Atlanta, Pierce led most of the race comfortably, managing tire wear up until 15 to go when a yellow came out. On the restart, with new tires, Pierce managed to bump into Casey's #13, leading to another yellow. Both cars were very lucky to escape without serious damage. Best yet, they were the leading cars on new tires with 3 to go on the restart. Pierce took high risk passes on the outside from 7th, and was able to retake the lead entering turn 1 on the final lap. Casey was in tow as well, leading to a solid P1 and P3 finish. Oddly enough, both cars would have finished lower without being involved in the last caution.
7/11/21
With only a few cars on the grid for Global Enduro's Formula Regional Monaco Cup, Pierce brought his #02 Tatuus Honda and his wits with him to the streets of the Principality. Armed with a very balanced setup right off the start of practice, Pierce swept the cup. The #02 is yet to be defeated in GE competition when it comes to Formula Regionals.
Later today, Krone Autosport will be going for Race 1 of the Driver's Paradise Racing League with both squads of drivers.
7/5/21
It has happened again. Pierce brought his #02 home from the pole for the win, leading every lap, with fastest lap of the race. In addition, he also topped every session leading up to the race, making this the third Grand Slam of the season.
Casey brought his #13 home in 5th, making another great points haul just before the playoffs.
If any KA driver wins in Global Enduro's Formula Regional Monaco Championship or Driver's Paradise Racing League Race 1 on Sunday, it will be the 50th official victory for Krone Autosport.
6/29/21
Two races from Pocono produced two different winners. After leading most of Race 1, Pierce misjudged a gap following Casey's #13, leading to the first yellow of the night. Another incident put the #02 back to 5th, with the #13 finishing 4th.
Race 2 started off with a lot of caution, leading to a fuel mileage race. Pitting on the very last lap of caution, Pierce had just enough fuel to make the checkered flag, while only one other car had enough as well. This however fell through when another yellow came out with 14 to go. The restart brought on a 10 lap shootout for the win, with the #02 fighting hard for the top spot. In the end, it was enough, bringing home the 13th win of the season.
HHRL visits Road America next week. Worth noting, the #02 has not yet lost a road course race this season.
6/21/21
In a race without a single caution lap, Pierce took the lead on lap 1 in his #02, only losing it briefly during the pit cycles. Casey brought his #13 home in 7th after two speeding penalties. Tonight's win was Pierce's 12th of the season.
The series moves on to Pocono for the doubleheader event next week.
6/14/21
Krone Autosport claims yet another victory this season in the Happy Hour Racing League, except it wasn't Pierce's #02! Casey brought home the #13 in commanding fashion for his first career victory in the HHRL All Star Race from Texas Motor Speedway.
With driver swaps enacted, the #13 executed a flawless race, coming from 4th on the grid to win. The #02 meanwhile remained 3rd from the same starting position.
Casey is the second driver in Krone Autosport's lineup to take victory in an official series event. The series moves on to Nashville Superspeedway next week.
6/7/21
In tonight's HHRL event at Sonoma Raceway, Pierce proved that his Grand Slam at Circuit of the Americas was no fluke by replicating the feat again. Casey's result led to having both cars locked into the Playoff Round of 16.
The HHRL All Star Race is next week from Texas Motor Speedway.
6/3/21
Concluding the month of Patriotism at Krone Autosport, Pierce brought home win number 10 of the season at Charlotte in the longest race of the season. Casey brought home his #13 in 4th, bringing him up the points standings in the process.
The series sees Sonoma next week for the HHRL Toyota Save Mart 175.
5/24/21
An absolutely dominating performance from Circuit of the Americas saw Pierce score the first Grand Slam of the season. Fastest in practice, qualified on pole, led every lap of the race, and quickest lap of the race led to the most impressive win yet for the #02. Casey brought his #13 home in 6th, bringing home a good points haul in a demanding race.
The series moves on to Charlotte for the Memorial Day Weekend HHRL Coca-Cola 300 next week.
5/17/21
Krone Autosport's most successful race in HHRL to date occurred tonight at Dover, with Pierce picking up his 8th win of the season and Casey bringing home 2nd. Pierce's long run pace was great for most of the race, but Casey easily had the short run over the entire field. With 20 to go, both KA drivers were dueling hard for the win, while 3rd and 4th slowly caught up. Pierce decided to act as Casey's wingman so that the #13 could visit the winner's circle, but with 10 to go, a crash brought the end of that plan. Restarting 5th, Casey made up three spots on the overtime to take 2nd, while Pierce held on from out front for the win.
The series moves on to Circuit of the Americas next week.
5/16/21
Casey brought his #13 Mustang home 6th in Monday's HHRL race at Darlington. Pierce made up for missing HHRL by finishing 2nd overall, 1st in class at Riverside in race 3 of Global Enduro's Spring 21 Endurance Series. With no losses yet in the series, Pierce clinched the LMP3 title just by finishing today's race.
This is Pierce's third title in Global Enduro, with two special event wins as well.
5/11/21

5/4/21
Leading most of the caution-filled race at Kansas, Pierce and his #02 got involved in a late race incident, eliminating his chances of a win. Casey had the win exiting turn 4 on the final lap, but made contact with several cars, regulating him to 8th. Pierce found 4 spots spinning through the grass to miss the incident, finishing in 5th.
With the playoffs quickly approaching, all four Krone cars find themselves in the round of 16 currently, opening up a wide array of possibilities when the time comes. The series moves on to Darlington next week.
4/26/21
The race from Talladega was called after the only overtime restart due to complete darkness. Results were taken from the order at the restart, giving Pierce 2nd, Casey 5th, and Steven 10th. Pierce linked his #02 up with the #93 for quite some time, proving that the Krone cars have enough pace to catch the lead group with only 2 cars pushing. Miscellaneous troubles plagued all three cars, hampering a likely great result.
The series moves on to Kansas next week.
4/19/21
Yellows, yellows, and more yellows plagued the HHRL Richmond event. Starting second, Pierce had an early pit stop issue, which he quickly rebounded from to take his fifth win in a row and his seventh of the season.
Next week sees some of the closest racing of the season, courtesy of Talladega. With more KA cars on track, expect to see them working together towards the front.
4/18/21
A new season has begun within Global Enduro, featuring LMP2, LMP3, and GTE classes over a four race championship. Pierce is fielding the #02 "Cherry Blossom" Norma LMP3. Starting on pole at Silverstone, Pierce drove away from the rest of the class, with only a few minor moments during the race to a commanding two minute lead.
The next race in the series takes place at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course next week.
4/12/21
Eight races into the season, and Pierce brings home win #6 from Martinsville. Starting on the outside of the front row, Pierce took the #02 to the lead into turn 1 and never looked back. Casey managed to pull off a near-continuous drift for over 200 laps, bringing the #13 home in 7th with a speeding penalty and an extra pit stop.
The series moves on to Richmond next week for the Toyota Owners 200.
4/5/21
In the HROC (Race of Champions) HHRL Season opener, Pierce finished 2nd and Casey finished 4th in the sprint race. In the feature race, Pierce drove off after the first pit stop for the win, while Casey brought home a consistent 4th.
Tonight brought new partnership to both cars, with Franco's Financial on Pierce's #02 and Discount Towing on Casey's #13.
HHRL Cup Series returns next week from Martinsville with the Blue Emu Max Pain Relief 250.
3/29/21
Damage lap 1, a crash on lap 100, and a stop/go penalty only servable under green. With a bold strategy, circulating around blind luck (panic), Pierce rallied back for an unexpected win in the closing laps. This was his 5th win of the season (7th race) for the #02, extending an already decent points gap over the field. Casey brought the #13 home after also being multiple laps down in 8th. Steven came home in 12th after having multiple bad luck moments.
HROC fills the off week next Monday with a yet to be disclosed event.
3/23/21
A war of attrition prevailed at Atlanta, with every car in the field suffering from issues at some point in the race. The #02 got involved in a crash mid way through the race, but fought back and ended up jumping out to a small lead after the final green-white-checkered restart. This was win number 4 of the season for Pierce. Casey brought the #13 home in 9th after having a solid run curtailed early.
The series moves on to Bristol next week.
3/15/21
After not intending on running the race, Pierce brought the #02 home for the third win of the season. Casey came home 8th in the #13 after leading a portion of the race. Steve brought the #2 home in 11th after early damage.
The series moves on to Atlanta next week for round 6 of the season.
3/8/2021
A bit of an attrition race at Vegas led to mixed results. All 3 of the Krone cars were competitive on speed, but had issues. Steve piloted the #2 home to 9th after a late stop for repairs. Casey brought the #13 home in 8th, also with damage. Pierce came home 6th after bringing out the last yellow with a spin.
The series sees the first short track of the season, Phoenix, next week.
3/1/2021
Pierce took home the win in the HHRL Dixie Vodka 200 at Homestead Miami Speedway. Overall, the field was spread out with a 110+ lap run, until that ended with a spinner entering the pits. On the restart, Pierce took off and won the race. Casey brought the #13 home in 7th, and Steven brought the #2 home in 10th.
The series moves on to Las Vegas next week for the HHRL Pennzoil 200 Presented by Jiffy Lube.
2/22/2021
With half the field finding the track limits during the 35 lap race, fuel strategy entered the mix. With just enough saving, significant time could be found. Pierce timed out the stops (and a drive through penalty) just enough to hang on to the win, with teammates Casey and Sam running 10th and 12th at the end. The series moves on to Homestead Miami next week.
2/21/2021
While the field size was small for the Alpine A110 GT4 special at Daytona Road Course, the action did not disappoint. The lead swapped hands consistently for over half an hour, when the front pack pitted for fuel. Pierce decided late to also take tires, which combined with a slow stop left the #36 eleven seconds behind the lead. However, with three laps remaining, Pierce caught back up to the leader, and eventually made the move for the win off of the final turn.
Global Enduro will be holding another special next week, starring the V8 Supercars at Bathurst.
2/15/21
After each making a trip up and down the leaderboard during the race, Pierce brought the #02 home in second place, while Casey brought the #13 home in 11th. Both suffered damage to their cars throughout the event, but the pace was there. Losing the pack early on, Casey and Pierce found each other after a yellow, and worked together to get the #13 back on the lead lap. From there, both cars survived yellows, and made it to the end.
The series moves on to the Daytona Road Course next week.
2/12/21

2/8/21
A frantic Duel at Daytona made a 30 lap event into a 49 lap qualifying race, but the #02 was in the right place at the end. After falling back to 12th from 4th on the grid, Pierce quietly worked his way to the front, taking the lead on the 3rd to last restart. From there, the lead did not change. On the final go, second place ran out of fuel, causing a modest sized wreck. At that point, the lead was large enough to hold on for the win.
Duel number two will be held on Thursday before the Thursday Night Thunder finale.
2/7/21
Tomorrow night sees the start of the 2021 HHRL Stock Car Series with the Duels at Daytona. These races will set the front row for the HHRL Daytona 250 the following week.
Krone Autosport's four car team is ready to bring the action. In addition, this week is the final race for the Thursday Night Thunder Winter Series. After being spun intentionally two weeks ago, the points were tied at the top of the standings going into the second to last week. A brilliant performance led to Pierce taking win #3 of the season, which in turn has almost clinched the title. As long as the #02 is 5th or better this week, Pierce will take home both Monday and Thursday Championships.
1/18/21
With only 7 remaining races entering today in the season and with over two wins advantage in points, it was likely that the HHRL Monday Winter Season 2020-2021 would be clinched with two races to go in the season. However, after claiming wins 8, 9, and 10 of the 24 race season today, Pierce has claimed the title earlier than anticipated. Today's wins bring the current tally up to 5 in a row. Four races remain in the series, with two at Daytona and two at Sebring.
1/11/21
As both Monday and Thursday Happy Hour Racing League Winter Seasons enter the final few weeks, the competition has been varying. Pierce held a 29 point lead entering round 15 of 24 in Monday points. This lead will increase, as the #02 took home win number 6 and 7 in rounds 16 and 17. At this time, Pierce can sit out two of the remaining 6 races and still win the title. In Thursday points, Pierce currently sits 3 points behind the lead after round 6 of 11.
With just a few weeks to go, much is at stake. KA has the potential to sweep both titles in our first full-time HHRL season.
12/27/20
Pierce took home the win today in the Global Enduro Stock Car Special at Daytona in a last-corner pass. After fighting hard for track position early on, it became clear to just hold on until the final stop. The two leading cars made it to the end on fuel (with damage too), so the move had to be made late.
"With about 15 laps to go, I started testing out the move on the leader to make sure it would work. On the last lap, I dove down into turn 3, got a massive run on them, and pulled out as we exited turn four. With my damage on the front nose, I was able to direct more air onto the inside spoiler, and carry the momentum to the line. Didn't think it would work, but it did. Credit to the #83 for driving a great race. It's cool to see my #02 New Year Special make it to victory lane in it's only start to date."
With today's win, Pierce has won both special events in Global Enduro's history, the prior coming in November at Macau.
12/27/20
Sam Raber has been brought onto the Krone Autosport HHRL program for 2021. Primary sponsorship will include KA's partners and some additional personal sponsors as well. Sam will be fielding the number 76 for the team.
12/13/20
Pierce took home the Global Enduro LMP2 "Finish Off 2020" Series title after finishing second in the final race at Road America. After winning the opener at Zandvoort, a DNF at Mugello, and another win at Road Atlanta, all that was needed was to finish ahead of second and third in the championship. On the wrong strategy, Pierce went into fuel save mode five minutes into the race, with the last three laps having the engine shut off for an extended amount of time just to make the line. In the end, that was enough to hold onto second place, with title rivals finishing in 3rd and 5th.
The next event with Global Enduro is a special, taking place at Daytona in stock cars.
12/8/20
Krone Autosport is proud to announce an addition to the 2021 Happy Hour Racing League lineup. Casey Wyatt will be piloting the #13 for the team, with primary sponsorship from KA's Partners and personal additional sponsors.
12/6/20
Preparation for the 2021 HHRL season continues within the Krone Autosport organization. Pierce Krone will be moving numbers for the upcoming season, from 85 to 02. Steven Krone will still field the 2, with Ford still being the manufacturer of choice.
All partners from the 2020 season will continue into 2021, with Three Rivers Karting, Northeast USA Electric Kart Club, and XPRTree Service as the primary partners on both cars.
11/26/20
Krone Autosport is proud to announce the addition of a second car next season in the Happy Hour Racing League. Steven Krone will be piloting the #2 Ford Mustang for the team. Sponsorship to be announced at a later date.
11/21/20
KA will be fielding the #85 Northeast USA Electric Kart Club Oreca Honda in Global Enduro's 4 race LMP2 series. Zandvoort, Mugello, Road Atlanta, and Road America will host races up till Christmas.
11/15/20
After starting on pole for the Global Enduro Macau GP, Pierce ended up losing the lead heading down to Lisboa on lap 1. What followed was a truly epic battle for the lead over the first 6 laps, until the leader found the barriers. After the battle ended, Pierce took the #85 home for a commanding win over second place. R.E.D. brought the #19 home in 5th after an early incident.
A new mini series, dubbed "Global Enduro - Finish Out 2020 LMP2 Series" kicks off next week from Zandvoort. KA will be fielding at least one entry, the #85 Oreca Honda in the series.
11/9/20
After 3 consecutive wins in the HHRL, Phoenix threw out a wrench (as did all the crew members repairing the cars). After dominating again, Pierce goofed a downshift in the pits, which led to restarting at the tail of the field. Back to the front again, the 85 spun while fighting for the lead, which led to the demise of the race. Broken steering, bodywork, and suspension did not help. That being said, with 3 Green White Checkered attempts, Pierce restarted 3rd on the final attempt, eventually coming home second. Thankfully, the points did not matter, as there was no championship possible from joining late in the series.
The race today at Phoenix concludes the championship, but KA will be running in the winter series beginning in a few days. In the meantime, Krone Autosport now switches to Global Enduro Macau GP preparation.
11/9/20
Less than a week to go for the Global Enduro Macau Gran Prix, which will be streamed on Sunday. Krone Autosport has teamed up with partner Full Send Racing for this event to increase the size of the team. Currently, there are two cars entered, with a provisional third. R.E.D. will be piloting the #19 Full Send Tatuus Mercedes, while Pierce will be piloting the #85 Northeast USA Electric Kart Club Tatuus Mercedes. The #13 Matco/Kartona Tatuus Mercedes driver will be announced upon confirmation.
11/2/20
Another dominating race win by the 85, this time at Martinsville. One yellow midway through the race ruined a huge lead during green flag pit stops. Still, the 85 fought back from 4th to win with over 200 laps out front in the race. "I'm not great at Martinsville, so yay." - Pierce
The season finale is at Phoenix next week.
10/26/20
A great race for the 85 at Texas. Led for about 90% of it, which includes a disconnection moment. Luckily, the yellow flew at the same time, and no laps were lost. After making up 6 spots in two corners on the restart, the 85 checked out, even having enough time for an extra stop at the end for fuel and two tires. "Points don't matter at this point due to where I joined in the season, but being able to donut at the end isn't a bad thing." - Pierce
10/20/20
After being on the receiving end of a crash lap 1 at the Roval, some form of luck needed to happen. Thankfully, Kansas is a good track for Pierce. Leading most of the race, the 85 finally broke through for the win with Three Rivers Karting on the car. "Well that was overdue after I was pummeled at Charlotte. Not going down at Kansas without a fight. At least the car was in one piece this time." - Pierce
Texas, Martinsville, and Phoenix round out the season over the next 3 weeks.
10/6/20
A nearly dismal race ended up half decent. After losing communications, Pierce pitted without anyone else at Talladega. After the stop, the 85 managed to catch a group. Ended up just short after making up a 9 second gap to the lead pack with an average speed of 204 mph per lap over the last 10 laps. "Could have been worse, given I decided to spin myself early on and smack the wall. Lets go win the Roval next week." - Pierce
In other news, a new paint scheme was revealed the day after the race. "I pulled a large company media move! Merry Christmas!" - Pierce
The #85 Hydro Christmas Sweater will be in the Happy Hour Racing League Roval event next week.
9/29/20
As the 1st Annual Global Enduro - F3 Macau Gran Prix is announced to take place with the Global Enduro Group, the first team to enter is also announced. KA will be fielding at least one car in the event, scheduled to occur November 15th.
"We are pleased to announce our participation with this year's Global Enduro F3 Macau GP. While there is only one car currently entered in the event, we are planning on fielding a maximum of 4 within Krone Autosport. In addition, should there be enough interest in driving, we have a partnership ready to go with our partner Full Send Racing to have more drivers in the event. I can't wait to field the #85 Tatuus Alfa Romeo for KA at Macau!" - Pierce Krone
9/29/20
In a surprising turn of events, Pierce took home the win in race #29 of the 2020 Happy Hour Racing League Season after leading well over half the race from pole. This was the second career start for the team, and the first in KA colors.
"It was a well fought evening at Vegas. I had roughly 10 laps total before the official practice, so I was not expecting much. After qualifying on pole and leading the first laps of the race, I thought I was perhaps in with a shot. Once the second yellow came out, we still had 100 laps of racing to go. It was a brilliant battle with the #21 over the final 100 or so laps. Fortunately, the undercut in the pit strategy got me the lead back, and I was able to barely hold on for the win. Best of all with all our partners on the car this week!" - Pierce
While ineligible for this year's championship, Pierce is out there to get a feel for the series before next year's season.
