THE OPEN GROUP ARCHITECTURE FRAMEWORK (TOGAF):

In this phase, high-level architectural principles are established, along with security and compliance needs definitions and technical feasibility assessments of the migration. Plans for communication and documentation are created to direct the project. It is also recommended to seek the assistance of a cloud migration specialist or partner to ensure a smooth and effective migration to the cloud. (Yeung, 2018). The overall purpose of this phase is to lay the groundwork for a successful cloud migration that is in line with Kroger's corporate objectives.
The emphasis moves to matching cloud strategies with particular company objectives during the business architecture stage of Kroger's cloud migration. Kroger defines how the cloud will enable or improve these operations and identifies critical processes and services that will profit from cloud adoption. In this phase, business processes must be optimized and cost-effectiveness must be guaranteed while also laying out a clear plan for incorporating cloud technologies into Kroger's operations. To gauge the effect of cloud adoption on business outcomes, key performance indicators (KPIs) have been defined. Financial models are also updated to ensure that cloud investments support Kroger's overarching business goals, including cost savings, agility, and better customer experience
