Description: This correspondence provide a link between finely defined patent classes based on International Patent Classification (IPC) into broader fields of knowledge, which, taken together, constitute what we refer to as the world’s technology space. We employ a novel approach to clustering patent technology classes based on inventors’ information. Our procedure is based on the likelihood that the same inventor produces inventions associated with different patent subclasses.

Description: This database provides list and characteristics of Townships in South Africa, as well as their Geolocation. In South Africa, the term "Township" (also location) usually refers to an under-developed, racially segregated urban area, from the late 19th century until the end of Apartheid, were reserved for non-whites, namely Black Africans, Coloureds and Indians. Townships were usually built on the periphery of towns and cities.
