The Summer Bridge seminars provided valuable insight into academic success, professional development, and perseverance. Dr. Hann presented his current research and shared examples of the achievements of his former research students. His presentation emphasized the importance of staying involved in research and extracurricular opportunities to build a successful future.
Dr. Stewart shared her personal journey of balancing motherhood while pursuing her education later in life and ultimately becoming a medical doctor in the Army. Her story demonstrated resilience, determination, and the ability to overcome challenges. She showed that success is possible even when the path is not traditional.
Mrs. Cabbach discussed her academic experiences and the steps that led her to become an engineer. Her presentation highlighted the value of hard work, dedication, and persistence in reaching career goals.
I enjoyed all three seminars because they motivated me to work hard and remain committed to my educational and professional goals. Each speaker demonstrated that success comes from perseverance, continuous learning, and taking advantage of opportunities for growth.
