The CCE seminar series on Writing the Literature Review Workshops highlights effective strategies for identifying appropriate sources for a literature review and synthesizing them within the framework of a rhetorial argument. The third installment addresses the issue of plagiarism, explores and critiques the concept of self-plagiarism, and demonstrates the text-similarity detection tool, iThenticate. Uses and limitations of iThenticate are proposed and a discussion session is provided.
