Every year the Arkansas Association for Cooperative Extension Specialists (AACES) social committee hosts a fall festival for employees. Last year was my first year to lead the team as chair. I'm pictured here with our MC during our costume contest.

Various teams from the Cooperative Extension IT dept receiving team innovation award. This was for the 2020-2021 work we did on Worday migration, Constant Contact migration, website domain change (whew), and employee digital media training resources.

My portfolio defense in Dec 2018! You can view that site here. I should have preserved that version since I've changed the language on it and added stuff from my work at the Cooperative Extension Service.
At the time I also had a software documentation page, but something happened to my MS Office help site that I set up for the Writing Center clients. It was hosted on my instructor's personal UALR server and I guess it doesn't exist anymore. 🤷🏻 I built the help site in Robohelp and I've realized that Robohelp is not backward compatible.
I received my master's in professional and technical writing in 2018.
Here I am with my faculty mentor, Dr. Martin. She encouraged me to enter the College of Social Sciences' Research and Creative Works Showcase. I won an award for the best graduate creative works for my website Powerfemme Conversations!
This is a photo of my colleagues and I at the Conference for College Composition and Communication. We presented on our writing center's research project, titled "Organizational History As Living Record: Preserving Writing Center Careers/History Through the Writing Center Research Project." The UALR Writing Center collects artifacts and conducts oral histories to preserve writing center history in the United States.

During my first semester of grad school, I organized a bake sale for the University Writing Center. All the proceeds went to the local VA Hospital to purchase everyday items for veterans in need. We were very proud of what we accomplished!

This is the writing center staff at the end of the Fall 2018 semester. We are all holding our "Fun Awards." It is a silly thing the grad assistants do to show appreciation to our interns during our last meeting. I worked with Dr. James as the lead graduate assistant.
