Institute Post Doctoral Fellow, IIT Bombay [Nov 2025 - Dec 2025]
About Me
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Bombay, working on the characterization and modeling of the thermo-viscoelastic behavior of solid composite propellants.
Before joining Prof. Haldar's Structure's lab at IIT Bombay, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Civil Engineering at Shiv Nadar University, where I predicted the behavior of multifunctional airship envelopes using physics-informed machine learning. Additionally, I developed an asymptotically accurate constitutive law for the hyperelastic HGO model using the Variational Asymptotic Method (VAM), validated through boundary value problems and compared against 3D FEA in Abaqus.
I graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR. My Ph.D. research analyzed multifunctional film-fabric laminates using the Variational Asymptotic Method, deriving asymptotically accurate constitutive laws and validating boundary value problem results against 2D and 3D FEA in Abaqus. I also hold an M.Tech. and B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharda University, Delhi-NCR. During my M.Tech. research, I developed mathematical models for free vibration analysis of composite laminates using MATLAB. My B.Tech. project modeled a greywater heat recovery system using SolidWorks.
