My general research interest includes L functions. Since L functions can be attached to a wide variety of objects, I am drawn to the study of those objects as well. Some of them include, Artin Representations (associated to the Galois group of a Number field), Modular forms (and more generally Automorphic representations), Algebraic curves and varieties. I am fascinated by the various properties of these L functions such as analytic continuation, the growth on various regions and the implications of these results on classical objects such as the distribbution of prime numbers etc. Recently I am being drawn to the study of transcendental nature of special values of these L functions mentioned above.
