Glimpses

This photograph captures my hands-on work with a Haas VF-5 CNC machining center integrated with a Meltio metal additive manufacturing system. The setup represents a state-of-the-art hybrid manufacturing platform, enabling both directed energy deposition (DED) metal 3D printing and precision CNC machining within a single machine envelope.

Through this system, complex metal components can be additively built layer-by-layer and subsequently machined to achieve high dimensional accuracy and surface finish. My involvement includes system operation, process understanding, and experimentation related to hybrid manufacturing workflows, highlighting the convergence of additive manufacturing, subtractive machining, and advanced mechatronic systems for next-generation manufacturing applications.
