How did you get into graffiti?

I was fortunate to go to an art magnet High school in the design district in Miami (currently Wynwood), DASH. There was a consistent generational graff lineage there going back atleast a decade or two. So, kinda inevitable. I think like 2 dudes from inkheads went there. It was vibrant for sure. Lots of black book exchanges and extra curricular activities. There were also monthly hiphop gatherings in the city where i met other writers. Late 90s , early 2000s

How did you come to bhakti?

About 2005, i was in Kansas city and met devotees through the Rupanuga Vedic College. I received a book on the streets and started my journey there. Although, I did grow up in an esoteric spiritual home so bhakti made sense to me from the get go. Later on i got initiated by Srila BhaktiAloka Paramadvaiti Swami in Miami along with my wife, and we serve together in Alachua, florida to the best of our ability.

Whats the philosophy of Krsna consciousness in a nut shell?

The pursuit of pure love

How has Krsna consciousness impacted your life?

There is nothing else worth pursuing. Its like getting unplugged from the matrix. You can't see nor enjoy the material world in the same way ever again. Everything reminds you of krsna and his devotees.

What would you say to someone interested in starting their practice?

Don't waste a moment of this precious human life. Just dive in. There is no loss.
