Matlab tutorials were demonstrated.

a) Introduction to Matlab: A basic introduction on matlab and basic operations like matrix

representation, logical operators , numerical technique like differentiation and integration

and plotting was provided before offline mode.

b) Optimization toolbox was taught at HBTU Kanpur in offline mode (one lecture is approx 60-

75 min) from 08 March 2022 to 07 May 2022. The objective was to make students use this

optimization tools like fmincon so that they can use this in there research problems like

optimization of heat exchanger.
