As the Director of Engineering for one of the largest counties in the state, I oversee a large team. I lead the operations of a hybrid cloud infrastructure, encompassing data centers, servers, storage, server and desktop virtualization, networking, and VoIP, utilizing technologies such as Cisco, VMware, Windows Server, Azure, Nimble, and HPE.

With Informatica, I helped large customers move along their journey from purchase to value. I served as a single point of contact to access any resources within the company to help our customers adopt INFA technology. My focus was solely on cloud products with an emphasis on Master Data Management and Data Governance.

During my time in this role, I helped build a culture of continuous improvement through the training and education of teams in the use of tools of continuous improvement. Additionally, I led multiple process improvement efforts to improve internal processes. Great experience. Covid and working from home made this role quite challenging because problems are best solved in person.

During this role, I helped lead an operations team within Facebook's North Carolina Data Center located in Forest City, North Carolina. This was an interesting experience as it was my first time running data center ops onsite at one of the largest facilities in the southeast us.

The fantastic team here led the migration, upgrade, and expansion of www.lowes.com. This effort was a 2-year sprint during which I learned a great deal. So many bright and hard-working team members helped complete these projects.
