On 30th of June a prayer meet was held at the tomb of the Servant of God Fr. Alfred Roche, in Holy Family Church Cemetery, Brahmavar, Udupi Diocese.   It commenced with a hymn to the Holy Spirit and a brief introduction by Rev. Fr. Mark Saldhana and thereafter people recited the rosary and the prayer for the beatification of the Servant of God Fr. Alfred Roche. It was ended with a hymn to Holy Family.  It was attended by a large number of people from Brahmavar, Barkur and Lower Kasarkod.  It was organised by the Parish Priest and Parishioners of Brahmavar, Barkur and Lower-Kasarkod, along with the Vice-Postulator Rev. Fr. Santa Lopes and all the Capuchin Friars of Holy Trinity Province Karnataka.

The prayer meet will be held regularly on 30th of every month at the tomb of Servant of God Fr. Alfred Roche. Thereafter the faithful are welcomed to publicly acknowledge any favours received through the intercession of the Servant of God Fr. Alfred Roche.
