KNOWN ISSUES: due to the original developers breaking the MIDI Engine around the time of the release of the Planes of Power expansion, there can sometimes be issues with MIDI playback in-game. Every now and then a note may be lost/missing, or it may get stuck resulting in the note being held indefinitely, as well as sometimes all music can just stop. This is fixed via the 'Midi Panic' hotkey in VirtualMidiSynth (the default is Ctrl + Alt + Space). This will immediately kill and then restart the Midi Engine, and the MIDI music should be fixed the next time you zone.
