About KRA
We are a charity run by local people in and around Kettering, originally set up to sponsor and support a refugee family to live in our town. Since then our remit has widened to support refugees from Ukraine and other parts of the world. We also support those asylum seekers who live in Kettering whilst they apply for Refugee status. Here we will notify the wider community about the support and fundraisers we have coming up, and work to raise awareness of the project.
The nearest Red Cross Offices are in Leicester, Milton Keynes and Peterborough. Click on this link to find out more about accessing support from the Red Cross.
We have a team of volunteers who offer their services in many different ways. Some examples include running English classes for Ukrainian refugees in Kettering, fundraising, supporting the NNC resettlement team of North Northamptonshire Council (NNC).
You can become a member and supporter of KRA for only £10 per year.
