9 MILE BANK

Distance: Approximately 20miles.

The 9 mile bank is a hop, skip, and jump,  (about 14 miles) from the mouth of San Diego harbor, and is one of the favorite spots for San Diego Anglers. 

Despite is close location, the 9 mile has a wide variety of species represented in the high summer months, and also holds rockfish all year.
