The VIP Laboratory is a dedicated research unit operating within the Department of Mechatronics since its establishment in 2017. Serving as a focal point for comprehensive fundamental research, our primary areas of expertise encompass image processing, computer vision, and deep learning techniques.

As a specialized group, our laboratory is committed to coordinating advanced research initiatives covering all facets of image processing, computer vision, and deep learning. Our mission extends beyond academia, fostering collaboration and interaction with industrial sponsors and federal government research agencies.
