Kabul Polytechnic University is the main center of educating engineers in Kabul, Afghanistan. It was founded on 13 October 1963 (1342 Mizan) as Kabul Polytechnic Institute and is located in 72 hectares of land in Karte Mamourin, North-Western Kabul. This institute is later on named as Kabul Polytechnic University, which currently have 8 faculties and 33 departments (courses) that include 22 professional and 11 general subjected departments.
