The BTS 

BTS  also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan or the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment (now known as HYBE) in 2013. The group consists of seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. 

BTS earned global respect and fame for their lively exhibitions, appealing music, and significant verses. They have made critical progress both in South Korea and around the world, frequently breaking records and winning various honors. BTS plays had a urgent impact in promoting K-pop and Korean culture around the world, frequently alluded to as the "K-pop sensation" or the "worldwide hotshots."

BTS has a dedicated and passionate fan base known as the "ARMY," which stands for "Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth." The ARMY plays an active role in supporting the group, spreading their music, and engaging in charitable activities inspired by BTS's philanthropic endeavors. 

BTS was formed by Big Hit Entertainment through a rigorous audition process. The group debuted on June 13, 2013, with their single album "2 Cool 4 Skool" and the lead single "No More Dream." Initially, they gained attention for their hip-hop and rap-oriented music. 

BTS's international breakthrough came in 2017 with their single "DNA" from their mini-album "Love Yourself: Her." The song entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making BTS the first K-pop group to achieve this feat. Since then, they have consistently released successful albums and singles. 

BTS has achieved several notable accomplishments on the Billboard charts. They became the first Korean act to top the Billboard 200 chart with their album "Love Yourself: Tear" in 2018. They have also topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart multiple times, with songs like "Dynamite," "Butter," and their collaboration with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo, "Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat) Remix." 

BTS has received recognition and accolades both in South Korea and internationally. They have won numerous awards, including Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and Grammy nominations. In 2020, they were named the IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year. 

While BTS primarily works as a group, the members have also pursued solo and subunit activities. They have released solo songs and mixtapes, collaborated with other artists, and participated in television shows, variety programs, and acting projects. 

Before debuting as BTS, the members underwent years of intensive training at their agency, Big Hit Entertainment. This training involved rigorous vocal, dance, and rap lessons, as well as language and cultural education. They spent countless hours perfecting their skills and preparing for their debut.  BTS actively participates in the songwriting and production process for their music.  BTS consists of seven members, each with their own unique talents and personalities. Here's a brief introduction to each member: 

• RM (Rap Monster): Kim Namjoon, known by his stage name RM, is the leader and main rapper of BTS. He is fluent in English and has played a significant role in BTS's global success. RM is known for his introspective and thought-provoking lyrics, often addressing societal issues and personal growth.

• Jin: Kim Seokjin, known by his stage name Jin, is the oldest member of BTS. He is a vocalist and visual of the group. Jin's warm and soothing vocals contribute to BTS's melodic sound, and his humor and wit make him a source of laughter within the group.

• Suga: Min Yoongi, known by his stage name Suga, is a rapper and producer. Suga is recognized for his impressive wordplay and introspective lyrics, often delving into his personal struggles and mental health. He has also released solo music under the name Agust D.

• J-Hope: Jung Hoseok, known by his stage name J-Hope, is a rapper and main dancer in BTS. J-Hope brings energy and charisma to the group, known for his powerful dancing skills and vibrant stage presence. He has also released solo music, including the hit song "Chicken Noodle Soup."

• Jimin: Park Jimin, known by his stage name Jimin, is a vocalist and dancer. Jimin's smooth and expressive vocals, along with his dynamic dance abilities, contribute to BTS's captivating performances. He is known for his charming personality and caring nature.

• V: Kim Taehyung, known by his stage name V, is a vocalist in BTS. V has a deep, soulful voice and often adds a unique touch to BTS's music. He is known for his distinctive visuals and acting skills, having made appearances in dramas and music videos outside of BTS.

• Jungkook: Jeon Jungkook, known by his stage name Jungkook, is the youngest member of BTS and serves as the group's main vocalist, lead dancer, and center. He is known for his versatile vocals, impressive dance skills, and artistic talent. Jungkook has also released solo music, including the popular song "Euphoria."

BTS is the first boyband in K- pop  who go to the whitehouse for press briefing on the importance of standing against anti-Asian hate crimes, and also had a 35-minute meeting with President Joe Biden in the Oval Office. 

Afterward came their conversation with president  – which made them the first Korean artists to discuss anti-Asian hate with a U.S. president at the White House – during which Biden thanked the guys for using their platform to help make a difference. “People care a lot about what you say, and what you’re doing is good for all people,” he told them. “It’s not just your great talent, it’s the message you’re communicating. It matters.”

BTS is the first  K-pop boy band who nominated in the Grammy's  .  K-pop boy group BTS received two awards from the American Music Awards (AMA), one of the major music award shows in the United States. That year, the group won Favorite Pop Duo or Group as well as Favorite K-Pop Artist. In total, the group has won 11 AMA awards since their debut in 2013. 

BTS takes an active role in the creation and production of their songs. 

 The songwriting process often starts with the conceptualization of the theme or message they want to convey. BTS draws inspiration from various sources, including personal experiences, societal issues, literature, movies, and art. They brainstorm ideas and discuss potential concepts as a group.
