Bullying, ableism, abuse
Kasie, later going more exclusively by her surname, Forte, is an antagonist in both halves of Cosmic Clockwork. She was Madison & Charlie's main Primary School bully in 2000, eventually pushing Charlie unintentionally off the school building's roof- which the latter would survive. Later in an alternate future created by Akeidat through a wish, Forte grew up to be Fiera's boss in 2042, as the manager of a law firm specialising in music copyright & distribution.
...Her whereabouts in the prime timeline in the present of 2022 are unknown, but nobody particularly wants to find out.
❤️Personality
Mean-spirited & viperous, Kasie's the type of kid to unapologetically steal your pencil case & play keep-away with it until it not-so-accidentally gets thrown out the window, then pin the blame on you for being a buzzkill who can't take a joke if you tell an adult. She loves picking on & mocking anyone she perceives as weird, if it means getting a funny reaction. On the same note; she refuses to do anything she thinks might affect her cool reputation, or that she thinks is lame. She's not one of the weird kids, thank you very much.
As an adult, she isn't as obviously malicious, but still just as much of a bully as she was as a kid- even if she claims to have matured past the foolishness of youth. Now less of a name-caller & more of a passive-aggressive peer-pressuring gossiper; she'll say the most out-of-nowhere rancid takes you've ever heard with such a calm, serene, playfully casual expression, that it'll make you feel like you're being paranoid for thinking she doesn't exactly have the best interests for the people around her at heart. Her dehumanising views on the weird people & anyone she considers an emotionally weak crybaby haven't changed much, either; it's just under a more elaborate vocabulary. ...Funnily enough, while she's quick to run her mouth about others, she rarely ever acknowledges her own mistakes, unless it's to guilt-trip others. It's difficult to have an actual, serious conversation with her, without her laughing everything off & dismissing things as not that big a deal.
More than anything, she values... not quite fame & popularity, though that wouldn't hurt; but moreso prestige & perfection; often setting impossible standards & expectations for everyone & everything in order to be considered "worthy" of attention. If you're not what she considers part of her narrow view of greatness, you don't deserve the time of day. To her, everything in life is a competition of superiority & strength; where only the ambitious should thrive & the weak get cast aside. She believes you don't deserve happiness if you're not willing to claw your way to the top, and feels genuine disgust and hatred when others try to find joy without earning it first.

💛Relationships
Fiera: Kasie is Fiera's boss, Fiera is Kasie's secretary. Simple enough on paper; though their relationship is a little more complicated than that. Kasie's been more of a personal mentor to Fiera for years, since the latter left college. They're able to predict each other's habits & quirks almost instinctually at this point; Kasie acts polite, if not shrewd, while Fiera acts as her obedient underling who doesn't ask questions, and there's nobody each other trusts more. But...
Kasie alternates between being harshly judgemental & berating everything Fiera does, both in & outside of work, then cheerily inviting her out for expensive meals later, with little in-between. Kasie's constant gossiping & insulting comments about anything that breathes makes Fiera wildly uncomfortable; but she's learned to tune her out over the years, just nodding along & agreeing with whatever Kasie says & does. She's probably just overreacting, right? Kasie's been so kind & generous to her as her boss, hasn't she? Shouldn't she be grateful? ...Why does being around Kasie make her so... nervous & afraid?
Meanwhile, Kasie doesn't see Fiera as an equal; why should she? Fiera's her subordinate. Being talked-down to is her job. But she's good at being a secretary & doing all the work she doesn't want to, so she keeps her around. She thinks Fiera's a brain-dead loser who should be thankful someone like Kasie thinks she's worth even a fraction of her time. She's especially annoyed by Fiera's recent jumpiness; what the hell is she so scared of, always flinching whenever she looks at her? Crazy weirdo.
🔬Random Facts
Her birthday is the date that Comet Austin reached perihelion.
Her full name is an anagram of "Stoke a fire", but her surname is also a reference to the musical term, Forte.
Genuinely, really wants to be real singer rather than just someone specialising in the law surrounding it, but doesn't think it's realistic for her to pursue in any way. She wants to be one of the real musicians, but refuses to start out going indie, as most artists often do, because she thinks it's lame & mortifying to be so openly an amateur at anything.
Pushing Charlotte was intentional, pushing her off the roof was not.
