For the 3D Modelling assignments I had to create 3 models and render them out.
For the first modelling challenge I had to create a low-poly panorama scene and render it with a built-in Maya renderer.
For the second modelling challenge I had to create a weapon, make low and high poly versions of it, bake the high-poly version onto the low-poly, create PBR textures for it and finally render it in a game engine.
For the third modelling challenge I had to create a robot, bake the low-poly onto the high poly, create PBR textures for it, rig it and animate it.
This is a model for the first modelling challenge. It's a low-poly panorama of backrooms rendered out using Maya's Arnold Renderer.
This is a low-poly mesh of the handle.
This is a low-poly mesh of the blade.
This is a high-poly mesh of the handle.
This is a high-poly mesh of the blade.
This is a baked low-poly handle model in Substance Painter.

This is a PBR textured handle in Substance Painter.
This is a PBR textured blade in Substance Painter.
I have decided to render out my project in Unreal Engine 5 because out of the box it has better rendering engine and camera settings compared to the other game engines.
I have perhaps spent the most time on this projects than all others. I have enjoyed making this and learnt a lot as well.
This is a low-poly mesh of Peter.
This is a high-poly mesh of Peter.
Baked low-poly model in Substance Painter.
Added PBR textures in Substance Painter.
Added bones and skin binded to it. Rig complete.
