Beiter tips and tricks before you use it: Youtube Video
How to use and tune your Beiter Plunger: Youtube Video with McKenzie Brown Olympic Archery
Step 1: Glue in pin nocks (if you have them) and points
Watch Jake's video. Start at 4:40
You will need:
Pliers
Fire source (I use my stove)
Hot glue sticks (NOT super glue)
A piece of wood or metal you can push tips into after you stick them in. I used my mom's cutting board and she was not very happy with me
Step 2: Draw on 3 lines to place on your fletching straight and spaced evenly
Start at 1:45
You will need:
Biter Tri-Liner (Ask Addy to borrow or buy here
Thin/ fine point oil based pen or silver sharpie (I like oil based because it never wears off)
Must have nocks on arrows already
Step 3: Draw on 3 lines to place on your fletching straight and spaced evenly
Watch Mackenzie's Video: Start at 4:45
You will need:
Spin Wings, Fletching Double Sided Tape, Detailing Tape (will come with spin wings when you order)
Clean hands (if you touch the tape with fingers at all it will not stick)
Must have lines drawn on prior to this video
Step 4: Powder your arrows
Goal: So your fletching won't stick together
You will need:
Baby Powder or Gold Bond
Small Makeup Brush or Toothbrush
Steps
put all of your arrows or just one over the side of the sink.
Sprinkle powder over the fletching aiming for the double sided tape
Use the brush to move the powder around and cover the tape under the fletching
Flip the arrows if needed and add more powder and keep brushing.
You shouldn't need a lot, just making sure they don't all stick together in your tube or in your quiver. It's really annoying when this happens.
