KOYC guitar entry contest: Matt Kouba was instrumental in facilitating the donation by quickly identifiing three deserving students. Our primary wish was to ensure the guitars went to someone already passionate about music. Matt Kouba (Music Teacher @ Ordway), with support from Principal Brandon Roe, facilitated the donation to three students. It was a heartening as they expressed their genuine gratitude. It was deeply rewarding to see the joy on these exceptional students' faces. Thanks to Stan Clark , Janet Smith and Jimi Ray for making this day unforgettable. Merry Christmas to the students: Noah Martinez, Samantha Coke and Kadince Medina-Hall.

We are a community radio station in Pueblo, CO, focused on bringing our listeners the voices & topics of people in the community and the music they want to hear. Our wide range of music goes from blues, jazz, rock, hip, country and everything in between. At KOYC, we have put together a diverse group of playlists you won't hear many on other stations. We also provide in-depth and well animated discussions on the current issues..
Our work with youth, involves programs on suicide prevention, bullying, domestic voilence, current city issues and we also teach youth about finance and their constitutional rights through games and challenges.
Local musicians play a big part in what makes Pueblo great. Our interviews of musicians and artists will give you some insight into the lives of many of these local talented folks.

May-Sept, 2024 Sundays are jam'n days at the Pueblo Music House from 2-5pm until Sept. 30th. Come join us, whether you play or just want to kick back and watch.
