原虎太郎（はら こたろう）です。一橋大学大学院の博士後期課程で、哲学研究に取り組んでいます。関心があるトピックとして、美的規範性や芸術解釈における作者の意図、ユーモアの倫理、プライバシーの定義論・価値論があります。
美的規範性については、2023年に一橋大学に提出した修士論文「美的規範性の源泉について：美的快楽説の再検討」において、美的理由の規範性を快の規範性へと還元する美的快楽説の一形態を擁護しました。現在は、本修士論文をもとに査読付き論文を出版すべく、議論のブラッシュアップに取り組んでいます。
芸術解釈における作者の意図については、〈作者の意図は正しい芸術解釈の決定に関与的なのか〉という問いに、解釈実践の対象や目的といった要素を度外視して答えを与えることはできないとする多元主義的な見解を支持しています。これらの見解は、論文「美学における意図論争の再描像：言語行為論を応用して」（2023年、Contemporary and Applied Philosophy）および「作者の意図と芸術解釈の目的」（2023年、『フィルカル』）で提示しました。
また、サイバーセキュリティ・プライバシー関連の仕事に従事していた経験から、プライバシーの定義論や価値論といったテーマにも関心があります。これに関しては、中長期的な研究課題として取り組むつもりです。

Kotaro Hara is a doctoral student majoring in philosophy at Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo. His research interest includes aesthetic normativity, art interpretation and authorial intention, ethics of humor, and the definition and value of privacy.
Regarding aesthetic normativity, his master's thesis, "On the Sources of Aesthetic Normativity: Reconsidering Aesthetic Hedonism" (in Japanese), defends a refined version of aesthetic hedonism. He is currently refining this argument with the goal of publishing a peer-reviewed paper.
On the topic of authorial intention in art interpretation, he supports a pluralistic view, arguing that we cannot answer the question of whether authorial intention is relevant to the correct interpretation of an artwork without considering factors such as the object and purpose of interpretive practice. His papers on this subject include "Reframing the Intention Debate in Aesthetics: Applying Speech Act Theory" (2023, Contemporary and Applied Philosophy, in Japanese) and "Authorial Intention and Purposes of Art Interpretation" (2023, PhilCul, in Japanese).
In addition to his academic work, he previously worked as a cybersecurity and privacy consultant at an international consulting firm. This background shapes his interest in the philosophy and ethics of privacy, which he plans to explore as a long-term research project.
