New spring is compressed & new bump stop & dust boot is installed (right)
spring installed onto shock absorber
Upper strut support is installed
New macpherson strut is assembled (spring + shock absorber + upper support)
ABS cable detached from old strut
Brake hose detached from old strut
Upper sway bar end link detached from old strut
Upper moutning strut bolts removed from engine bay
old strut removed from wheel well (right)
new upper mounting strut bolts installed & torqued to spec with thread locker to prevent vibrations loosening the bolts
(Below) sway bat end link installed / ABS cable & brake hose re-attached)
Lower pinch bolt installed & torqed to spec
