Our participants had a lovely time at Hamamatsu Matsuri watching the kites and eating lunch together!

Our participants had the oppurtunity to have a guided tour of the Kamoe Art Center, complete with a commentary from their resident expert. The tour was filled with interesting facts about the local area and culture.

We had the pleasure to host Hawa on her trip from to Japan. At this special Malawian edition of Buddy Room, Hawa spoke to everyone about her life and the work she does in Malawi - including running an orphanage and supporting her local community. We also had a talk from Mr. Okada of Baobab Sunrise about his passion for the baobab tree and its various health benefits.
In Malawi, everyone must be greeted individually!

Today we learned about British and Irish culture by experiencing Afternoon Tea. We drank tea and feasted on snacks while getting to know each other!
