Overview of Korea University

Very similar in size to the University of Illinois, Korea University is spread over 185 acres and has a student population of 35,000. In an effort to modernize the campus, Korea University has added new classrooms and athletic facilities that have been designed to complement the traditional stone architecture and sprawling lawns found throughout the rest of the campus. 

Overview of Seoul

Seoul is a major cosmopolitan city with over 10 million people, which provides no shortage of events and activities that will introduce you to everything Korean. The city has western-style restaurants and clubs and the subway system is inexpensive and easy to navigate. One of the most popular pastimes in Korea is Karaoke, and it is definitely something to experience during your time in Korea.
