An attempt at mapping coffee factories, sales outlets, where coffee grounds are processed in the traditional local styles. From large-scale production factories, to single Kopitiams churning out their own brand label and recipe. (Work in progress), online digital mapping unavailable at the moment, but places and names are searchable.
Below is an abstracted map of found coffee powder brands arranged according to their geo locations. The data presented is not exhaustive and is ever expanding. Mainly concentrated to the west coast of the peninsular from two plus years of travel on the trunk, rural roads.
Not all factories, plantations are open to public, although some have a front sales office for walk-in sales, where else coffee powder can also be sought at regular kopitiams, although ordered and manufactured by a larger coffee factory facility. There are instances where small kopitiams do produce their own in-house coffee grounds and are packaged for sale.
Some factories have stockist shops at central markets in big towns, where the vendor freshly packs grounds according to order and mix blends. Some trade practitioners have revitalised from next generation take over and ventured into specialty coffee.

Melawati, Kuala Lumpur— This cup of coffee with milk & sugar, cost USD 45¢.
Little India, Georgetown, Pulau Pinang— Love the presentation of kopi juak, in a corner all wooden, single storey shop in a majority indian sector of town.
Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang— The best kopi in Penang, might be on mainland. Super thick, dark, that "nusantara sourbitters" is strong here! #nusantarabitters #sourbitters
This changes my entire thinking and feeling towards northern style kopi!
Georgetown, Pulau Pinang— Serving in a french style, glass cup saucer is City Rio Cafe, past their prime, but the corner kopitiam is period tiled and another relic of the kopi culture.
Sin Hoy How, Kuala Lumpur– Cham, which is Tea with coffee, which is different from Hailam cha, Coffee with tea. I love this, from a Teh-C drinker's perspective.
