Hello, and welcome to my personal academic website! It is still a work in progress, but I hope you will find it useful.

My name is Konstantin Bogatyrev. I am a PhD student in political science at Bocconi University and pursue a research career. In my dissertation, I investigate voter accountability mechanisms for socially conservative, illiberal and authoritarian political actors using quantitative methods to infer causality. Regionally, I mostly focus my research on countries in Europe and the European Neighborhood. I am a member of the ERC project LOSS team led by Prof. Catherine De Vries, who is my PhD advisor.

At Bocconi, I also act as the vice-president of the Association for Gender Equality and Diversity in Academia (AGEDA) and organize the Politics & Institutions Clinic seminars. In 2022-23, I was an Ambassador of the CIVICA alliance.
