Section #1 – Your Mobile Phone

I only use lock screen and incognito mode at the moment.
*Is your phone connected to the cloud? Why or why not?
Technically my phone is connected to the cloud, but I have disabled cloud sharing on some of my apps.
*How much storage space does your phone have? How much have you currently used?

*Do you normally connect to WIFI on your phone? Why or Why Not?
When I am home, I connect to WIFI majority of the time. Since I have free data, I sometimes turn it off and when I am not home, I always have it off. Except for on a plane.
Section #2 - Mobile Phone Addiction
*Where is your phone right now?
My lap.
*What do you if your phone is not in the same room as you?
If I am out in public, I would finish what I am doing then get it. But at home I don’t use my phone that much so I will leave it until I need it.
*Do you take the phone into the bathroom with you? Why or why not?
Yes, because it’s a good time sink. Taking a shower, you can use it for music also.
*Are you able to put your phone away for an hour or more and concentrate on something else? Can you give an example of when you have done this recently?
If I'm playing a game, I don’t pay attention to my phone for multiple hours
*What apps do you use on your phone the most?
Discord, snapchat, YouTube.
Section #3 – PC vs Phones
*What apps/software do you use on the computer regularly?
Discord, Google chrome. Then whatever my games need to run ill have them in the background IE: launchers
*Are their tasks or activities you find you must do on the computer instead of your phone? Or vice versa?
I do my school work on my computer. I stopped playing games on my phone and do that just on computer now. But when I need to call or contact someone, I usually do that on my phone.
*If phones disappeared today, how do you think your computer usage would change?
It would increase because of the number of things that would be created that would replace our phones. I would probably have to get a laptop because that would be a mobile computer.
*If you didn’t have access to your phone, how would you navigate to a strange place?
There are things that were created in ancient times. Some say people would call these things “Maps” Or would “Print directions” From MapQuest
*I’m assuming you are typing this on a computer, what is the operating system of the computer you are using?
Windows 10 Home edition
*How much hard drive space does your computer have?
Two Terabytes
*How does your computer connect to the internet?
Powerline adapter. This lets me use electrical wiring to give me connection instead of running an ethernet cable throughout my house.
*Run a speed test like we did in class. What was the result?
14.4 Mbps download 5.18 Mbps upload with a latency of 14ms
