Global Project

For this Project we were tasked with finding out information about the technologies of different countries. With it being a group project my partner and I would compare our two different countries that we picked, Nigeria and Japan.

With me already knowing a decent bit about Japans culture I've never delved into knowing too much about their actual technologies other than they have a lot of car companies and were pioneers of video game consoles. But through this project I've learned that Japan is one of the most internet penetrated countries whos population has technology around the majority of them. On the other hand I learned what technology is like in Nigeria! Comparing a 92.7% internet penetration in Japan to a 73% penetration in Nigeria, I learn that there is still some limiting factors in the country. Factors like it having a lack of electrical infrastructure or political factors. We can hope that in the future both of these countries will be even closer to having 100% of internet penetration and all see an increase of technology in homes and society.
