How does Kompressor work?
Kompressor uses intelligent algorithms to reduce the file size of your photos and videos while maintaining visual quality. All processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Kompressor processes everything locally on your iPhone or iPad. Your photos never leave your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal files. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
How many free compressions do I get?
You can compress up to 10 photos per day for free. Upgrade to Kompressor Pro for unlimited daily compressions along with additional features like batch processing, iCloud sync, and auto-clean.
How do I upgrade to Kompressor Pro?
Open Kompressor and tap the upgrade button on the home screen. You can choose between a monthly or yearly subscription. All payments are processed securely through the App Store.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Tap your name at the top. Tap Subscriptions. Find Kompressor Pro and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Kompressor on your new device. The app will automatically check for active subscriptions linked to your Apple ID. If it does not restore automatically, go to Settings within the app and tap Restore Purchases.
Why does Kompressor need photo library access?
Kompressor needs access to your photo library so you can select the photos and videos you want to compress. All compression happens on your device and your photos are never uploaded anywhere. You can revoke access at any time in your device Settings.
What formats does Kompressor support?
Kompressor supports JPEG, HEIC, PNG for photos and all standard video formats supported by iOS including MOV and MP4.
Will compression reduce my photo quality?
Kompressor is designed to achieve significant file size reduction with minimal visible quality loss. You can use the built-in comparison slider to preview the compressed result before saving. You can also adjust the compression level to find the balance that works best for you.
How does batch compression work?
Tap the Batch button on the Compress tab, select multiple photos from your library, and compress them all at once. Batch processing is available with Kompressor Pro.
Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?
No. All compression happens on your device. Your photos and videos never leave your iPhone or iPad. Kompressor does not use cloud servers for processing.
