This analysis was a project in the Coursera Professional Data Analytics certificate, which focused on polishing plots and graphs using ggplot. This data came from a fictional Hotel booking company that needed an analyst to annotate and deliver a chart to their specifications as the deliverables.
Scenario:

The stakeholders specifically asked for annotated and specific charts for them to determine the best course of action for the business
The stakeholders also requested an RMD file to be able to re-run the code for future usage and standardization
Questions asked:
What type of client is the most beneficial to the company?
What deposit type is most used?
Which hotel type is more rented?
Delivered Chart
Raw Data
Questions answered:
A vast majority of the clientele are categorized as Online TA.
Must be a job characteristic to travel and stay in hotels.
Almost all of the hotel rentals, are rented without any deposit.
There must not be enough incentives for people to put down a deposit on their room.
City hotels have almost four times the usage compared to resort category hotels.
Must be due to the locations of resorts not being centralized for work usage, and is most likely comprised of people on vacation.
Recommendations:
Since there is zero usage of refundable deposits there needs to be an incentive for people to put a refundable deposit down
There is a minimal amount of people using non-refundable deposits to book a room, there needs to also be an incentive for customers who are sure about their stay
A vast majority of hotel bookings are done with city hotels, which may be due to the amount of businesses sending a representative for work reasons.
may be able to increase deposit types in conjunction with incentives for the person booking the hotel room if the booking purpose is known.
