The Lee lab is a chemical biology group at Kangwon National University. Our interdisciplinary research encompasses a wide range of topics including protein engineering, bioconjugate chemistry, biomaterials, biosensor design and nanobiotechnology for developing personalized medicine and diagnosis system for the effective treatment of various diseases. Our primary goal is to engineer biomacromolecules (Proteins and DNAs) that we can manipulate and produce in the laboratory to modulate a function of numerous disease-driven factors, with the ultimate goal of fabricating biologically functional composites on nanoscale for realizing accurate tumor diagnosis and targeted therapy.
