Collects and donates used prep books amongst La Canada High School students.

Through our book drive at PCY, we raised an additional 2318 books! Thanks to the generous students, we were able to almost double our goal by the end of 2022.

As we have already donated 790 books since starting our organization in April, we see 1,600 books donated as a reasonable and attainable goal to reach by the end of 2021.

We have collected around 500 books from local libraries (La Canada Library + Eagle Rock Library) and have shipped them successfully. 

To kick off our donation efforts, our very first book drive has been held in our very own La Canada High School. The drive took place on May 26th/27th, which we received almost 250 books from 7th and 8th grade students. 

Before we bring schools and outside organizations into the donation process, we'll ship books from our own homes and families to get a feel for what we need to do. Our team complied around 60 book which made up our first shipment of books to Africa.
