Provide: Teaching Activities to aid and educate in how to memorize phone numbers.
Who should participate in “Know 2 Numbers”?
Children ages 4+ and adults should have at least two important phone numbers you would call in an emergency committed to memory.
· Already know two phone numbers? That’s great! Every September 21, you can participate by actually dialing your emergency phone numbers to test your memory and to test to make sure your contact person’s numbers are still working properly. Then, memorize two more important phone numbers.
· Don’t already know two phone numbers? We’re here to help! Use the Teaching Activities and other resources on this website to help you memorize whichever two phone numbers you want to know.
Why should everyone have at least two phone numbers memorized?
The latest technology of phones allows users to save phone numbers making it easier to call for emergencies. However, we should not rely on cell phone contact list as much as we do because phones get lost, forgotten, damaged, stolen, or drained batteries.”
