How to apply first aid to Severe Bleeding?
Always remember to not take the object embedded object in the wound. This will create more hole and increasing the blood flow. Do not wash if it's bleeding heavil this will make it bleed more.
1. Apply pressure on the wound
2. Immediately call 911 or ask someone to do it for you.
3. Secure dressing with a bandage
4. If Shock occurs, elevate legs if not injured, lift their feet higher than the rest of their body.
5. Give re-assurance and wrap them in coats or blanket to keep them warm.
