About KNCHS
Koronadal National Comprehensive High School was established in 1947, occupying at first a dense cogonal area of 79,000 square meters all the greeneries of shrubs and shade trees as its landscape. Its first name was Koronadal Junior High school and later republic Act 5550, a bill sponsored by James Chiongbian, converted Koronadal Junior High School to Koronadal National Comprehensive High School on July 1, 1970. The school’s conversion to a national comprehensive high school paved a way for more improvements. The school started with 184 students in 1974, and today it is the second home of more than 7,000 students from first to fourth year levels.
