The late Mr. Martin Dideles supervised the first teaching staff of the school. The first principal to serve the school was Mr. Basilico Baptista. More teachers were added as enrollment increased.
When Ariston Viloria retired in 1985 as a Principal III, Mrs. Edith Baptista was promoted to Principal IV and took over as the new school head. After serving the school for many years, Mrs. Baptita died in 1004 due to illness. Different persons were placed to head the school temporarily.
In August 22, 2005, Mr. Fernando C. Hilomen returned to KNCHS and was installed as the new principal. Known as an experienced instructional leader and a man of action, he started the campaign of bringing back the glory of the school. New buildings were added and old ones were remodeled, repaired and repainted. He encouraged teaching personnel of the school to help achieve excellence in all areas.
KNCHS has two annex schools. Last Augaust 2005, Bacongco Campus opened wirh Dr. Belen Fajemolin as its teacher-in-charge. However, Dr. Fajemolin was transferred to another school so in January 3, 2007, Mr. Valentin Dignadice Jr. took over Bacongco Campus, with 425 students and 9 teaching personnel.
In June 2006, Saravia Campus opened with Mr. Gil Subang as its first teacher-in-charge with 125 students and 5 teaching personnel. In the rear 2009, another annex opened in Paraiso, with Mr. Wlmer Fetalino as Teacher-in -charge.
Last May 2013, Mr Fernando Hilomen retired from public service. Since then, Mr. mario Madrero, the OIC-Assistant Superintendent, is the school’s Principal OIC.
KNCHS, a premier secondary institution of learning, stands to build dreams and aspirations for the search of newer and broader perspective in the field of education abd will continue to strive for better quality education.
About the strands available in KNCHS-SHS
HUMSS
HUMSS is a strand that covers subjects investigating human behavior, societal issues, and culture, providing profound knowledge in politics, literature, arts, and society. Students develop skills in communication, media, information, reading, and critical thinking.
ABM
The ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management) Strand is designed for students who are interested in business, finance, entrepreneurship, and accounting. The curriculum of the ABM strand provides a strong foundation in the principles of business and management, as well as financial and accounting concepts.
STEM
The STEM strand teaches students how to apply math, science, engineering, and technology to solve real-world problems, critical thinking and collaboration skills. Graduates can pursue high-paying careers in fields like software development, engineering, and fostering robotics.
TVL
The program focuses on the principles and practices underlying the analysis, design, implementation, and management of information technology and preparation in health, social and other community development services, business, hotel, and restaurant services.
