Welcome to 4th grade Social Studies at KMS. I am Lisa Henriquez. I have taught over 25 years in North Carolina and Georgia.  My teaching experience includes 7th & 8th Grade Science and Social Studies, 1st - 5th Gifted Enrichment as well as serving as an Instructional Coach for Personalized Learning.  I love to travel and learn about history.  I took part in the Teaching American History Grant for 10 years. We traveled the United States every summer studying history where it was made! My husband and I moved to Atlanta 5 years ago when our children started college. Jay  Graduated from Florida State University and the Medical College of Georgia. He just started his surgical residency in Michigan. Mary Kate attends Georgia Southern University and is studying to be a physician's assistant. We also have 2 cats, Ari and Stella.
