How Things are Done

WebSlides

These are some pictures I pulled up as a kind of title page; just a slideshow of the outside edges of the process. The other pages on the site will show some of the squidgy inside bits.

From time to time up here at KMPLTD, there is enough time during the process of making stuff to take some pictures of the process. Mostly, this is done for bragging rights when the customer comes in to pick up the piece; "See how much work this is?"

Lately, however, the number of project folders in the Google Photos album has been getting a bit, ummm... overwhelming and perhaps some context would be helpful. Not that I'm being completely altruistic here, because I also like writing this sort of explanation for the process. When presented with a series of photos, it's fun to put together some sort of narrative for the edification of those who might be interested. Plus, it makes me feel like a smarty-pants. (In the US, this would be an M&M-pants.)

The projects outlined herein are always the property of customers, so if I've used your stuff for one of them and you'd rather not have it in a public forum such as this, please let me know and I'll take it down. That being said, all identifying features, such as the customer name have been stripped from the photos, so unless I get all blabby, the whole shebang should be fairly anonymous.

These projects are short bits that never made it into my book. What book? You say? Why , this book here. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B072KCM3G9?pf_rd_p=46535598-d2e0-4bc4-8392-182d8c1e93fc&pf_rd_r=NX5GC78CM4E6FT1FFB51 It's chock full of informative information. Granted, really old information, but I'm working on an update.
