Hydrogen dispersion and explosion
Hydrogen dispersion and explosion
Roof venting effects
Under closed-roof conditions, hydrogen accumulated beneath the ceiling and produced monitored peak overpressures of 7.96–119.92 kPa.
Roof venting reduced peak overpressure by 62.4–98.3% and positive impulse by 91.9–95.1%

Protective-barrier effects
After ignition, the with-barrier case showed a decrease in protected-side peak overpressure from 1.61 to 0.14 kPa.
The positive impulse at this location decreased from 63.65 to 7.91 kPa⋅ms, corresponding to an 87.6% reduction.
