일반 지능(전체 지능 지수[FSIQ])과 웩슬러 지능 검사의 특정 영역을 모두 고려하여 읽기와 수학에서 지능과 학습 간의 상관관계를 탐구하고, 어떤 측면이 각 학습 영역에 기여하는지 파악하는 것을 목표로 했음. 피어슨 상관분석을 통해 100명의 참가자로 구성된 전체 표본과 FSIQ가 70점 이상인 하위 집단에서 FSIQ, 지표(언어적 종합 지수[VCI], 지각적 추론 지수[PRI], 작업 기억 지수[WMI], 처리 속도 지수[PSI]) 및 CLT 하위 검사 간의 관계를 조사함. 상관분석 결과, 대부분의 CLT-R 및 CLT-M 하위 검사는 전체 표본과 하위 집단 모두에서 FSIQ와 통계적으로 유의미한 양의 상관관계를 보였고, CLT-M 및 지표의 경우, VCI와 PRI는 전체 표본에서 여러 CLT-M 하위 검사와 유의미한 상관관계를 보였지만, FSIQ가 70점 이상인 하위 집단에서는 대부분 더 이상 유의미하지 않았음. WMI와 PSI는 하위 집단의 계산, 비교 및 열거에서 속도와는 상관관계를 유지했지만 정확도와는 상관관계를 유지하지 못했고, CLT-R의 경우, 여러 CLT-R 하위 검사가 두 집단 모두에서 WMI 및 VCI 지표와 양의 상관관계를 보였음. 본 연구는 읽기와 수학 모두에서 대부분의 하위 검사가 일반 지능(FSIQ)과 유의미한 양의 상관관계를 보인 반면, 특정 지능 지표(VCI, PRI, WMI, PSI)는 하위 검사마다 상관관계가 다르게 나타났다는 것을 보여주었는데, 이러한 결과는 학습 연구에서 지능을 배제해야 한다는 기존의 통념에 도전하며, 학습과 지능의 관계를 연구할 때 지표 및 요소에 특화된 접근법을 채택해야 할 필요성을 강조함.

경두개 전류 자극은 뇌 진동을 조절하고, 결과적으로 비침습적 방식으로 인간의 인지 기능을 향상시키는 데 사용되는 신경 조절 기술임/ 연구에서는 교차 주파수 결합 경두개 교류 자극(CFC-tACS)이 작업 기억 성능을 개선하는지 조사/ tACS 치료군과 위약군의 참가자는 문자와 숫자의 조합이 제시되는 수정된 스턴버그 과제(작업기억 과제)를 수행하도록 지시 받음/ Theta Phase/고 빈도 Gamma 진폭 CFC-tACS는 전극 F3과 그 주변의 4개 자극 회귀 전극(Fp1, Fz, F7 및 C3)에 20분 동안 처치/ 작업 기억 성능의 tACS 매개 향상에 대한 신경 생리학적 상관 관계를 파악하기 위해 작업 기억 과제의 보유 기간 동안 EEG 알파 및 세타 파워, 교차 주파수 결합, 기능적 연결성 및 노드 효율성을 분석/ tACS 치료군에서 반응 시간이 상당히 감소한 것을 관찰했으며, 보유 기간의 후반부 동안 전두엽 알파 파워와 단방향 Fz-델타-위상에서 Oz-고-감마-진폭 변조의 치료 매개 차이가 억제되었고, 네트워크 분석에서 알파 억제와 델타/ 세타 강화 사이에 tACS 매개 전두엽-후두엽 해리성 신경 역학이 드러남/ 이는 tACS가 전두엽-후두엽 영역 전체에서 상향식 제어와 기능적 연결성을 조절하여 작업 기억 성능이 향상되었음을 나타내고 이 결과는 CFC 형성 tACS에 의한 인지 성능 향상의 적용의 실제 가능성을 나타냄.

우리의 이전 연구에서는 3주간의 반복 경두개 자기 자극(rTMS)이 우울증 환자의 P200 진폭을 증가시키고 우울증과 불안 증상을 개선한다는 것을 보임/ 이번 연구에서는 3주간의 rTMS 치료가 6주차 추적 조사에서 우울증 환자의 P200 진폭을 유지하는지 연구/ 임상 설문지와 청각적 오드볼 패러다임을 사용하여 rTMS의 6주간 유지 효과를 측정하고 약물 저항성 주요 우울증 환자 21명이 이 파일럿 연구에 참여했고 모든 환자들은 3주간 rTMS 치료를 받았으며, 치료 전, 치료 후, 6주 시점 추적 확인 방문(rTMS 치료 종료 3주 후)에서 임상 평가를 완료하고 청각 오드볼 과제를 수행/ 3주간의 rTMS 치료 후에 P200 진폭이 증가하고 우울증과 불안 증상이 개선되었음. 그 결과는 6주차 추적 조사에서 임상적 평가에 대한 유지 효과를 보여주었음. 우울증과 불안 척도는 6주차 추적 조사에서 치료 후 및 유지 효과에서 개선을 보였고 P200 진폭은 3개 시점(기준선, 치료 후 및 6주 확인 추적 방문)에서 유의한 주효과를 보였음/ 처치 전후 비교에서 P200 진폭은 기준선 조건에 비해 치료 후에 유의하게 증가했지만 3번째 측정인 6주차 추적 조사에서는 치료 전 상태와 비교해 rTMS의 유지 효과를 보이지 않았음( p = .173, Bonferroni 보정 후)/ P200에 대한 sLORETA 분석은 치료 후에 좌측 중간 전두회에서 유의한 활성화를 보였지만 6주차 추적 조사에서는 유의한 활성화를 보이지 않았음. 게다가 전반적인 지형 분포의 진폭은 추적 조사 6주차에서 감소했고 3주간의 rTMS 치료는 우울증과 불안 증상의 개선 유지를 유도했음/ 사건 관련 전위(ERP)와 sLORETA의 결과를 고려할 때 3주간의 rTMS 치료는 이러한 개선 효과를 유지하기에 충분하지 않을 수 있으므로 rTMS의 전기 생리학적 유지 효과를 보여주려면 3주 이상의 경두개 뇌자극 치료가 필요할 것으로 판단됨.

반복 경두개 자기 자극(rTMS) 및 경두 직류 자극(tDCS)과 같은 뇌 자극이 인간의 다양한 인지와 감정을 조절할 수 있다고 보고되었습니다. rTMS 및 tDCS 연구는 인간의 감정 조절 및 의사 결정 조작에 적용할 수 있는 강력한 가능성을 제공 / PubMed(http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed)에서 키워드 "rTMS", "tDCS", "감정 조절" 및 "의사 결정"을 사용하여 문헌을 검색한 결과를 바탕으로 rTMS 및 tDCS를 사용한 감정 조절 및 의사 결정에 대한 연구를 검토했음/ 감정 조절과 관련하여 rTMS는 감정 조절의 주의 및 정서적 측면에 영향을 미칠 수 있는데, 감정 조절을 위한 tDCS 연구는 생리적 각성, 사회적 배제, 수학적 불안, 통증 자극에 대한 감정적 반응, 부정적 영향, 순간적인 반추적 자기 참조적 생각, 정서적 그림에 대한 자율적 반응과 같은 다양한 주제가 포함했음. / 의사 결정 연구에서는 지연 할인 작업, 음식 선택 및 도덕적 판단과 같은 감정과 관련된 rTMS 효과가 보고되었는데 이러한 연구들은 시공간적 주의, 지각, 사물 식별, 공간 작업 기억, 시각 운동 기술, 작업 및 비난 가능성 및 처벌 결정과 같은 인지 기능 등이 확인되었음./ 의사 결정을 위한 tDCS 연구에서 tDCS가 도덕적 판단, 위험 감수 행동, 선택 조절, 지연 할인, 부적응 및 지각적 의사 결정, 확률적 추측, 공간 및 시간 지각, 이중 작업 수행, 모델 기반 학습, 중독, 음식 갈망, 침몰 비용 효과, 탐색-착취 트레이드오프(exploration-exploitation trade-offs) 및 인지적 충동 제어에 영향을 미친다는 보고가 점점 더 늘고 있음/ rTMS와 tDCS는 감정 조절과 의사 결정에 관련된 행동을 조절하는 것으로 나타났는데, 이러한 수많은 연구 결과들은 임상 인구에 적용될 수 있으며, rTMS와 tDCS가 감정 조절 결함이 있는 사람들에게 많은 유익한 함의를 가질 수 있음을 시사함.

이전 연구들에서는 반복적 경두 자기 자극(rTMS)이 뇌에서 신경 가소성을 유도한다고 보고했음. 사건 관련 전위(ERP)가 주요 우울증 환자의 ERP에 대한 rTMS의 효과는 완전히 규명되지 않았음/ 이 연구에서는 rTMS 치료가 ERP를 사용하여 약물 저항성 주요 우울증 환자의 뇌 기능 변화를 유도한다는 것을 입증하고자 함/ 약물 저항성 주요 우울증 환자 18명(남성 5명, 여성 13명)이 이 연구에 참여했음. 환자들은 3주 동안 rTMS 치료를 받았습니다. 모든 환자는 첫 번째 방문(기준선)과 3주차 방문(3주) 시 Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAM-D), Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAM-A), Beck Depression Inventory(BDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory(SAI, TAI), Ruminative Response Scale, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire(CERQ)와 ERP 청각적 오드볼 과제를 포함한 임상 척도 검사를 수행/ HAM-D, HAM-A, BDI, SAI 및 CERQ 타인 비난 척도는 3주간의 rTMS 치료 후 통계적으로 유의하게 감소했고, ERP 청각적 오드볼 과제에서 FP1, FP2, FZ, FCZ, CZ 및 PZ 채널을 분석했을 때 P200 진폭은 측정 시간에 대한 주효과를 보였고 유의하게 증가했음. 또한 sLORETA 분석 결과 rTMS 치료 3주차에 좌측 중앙 전두엽에서 유의한 활성화를 보였음/ 본 연구 결과 3주 간의 rTMS 치료 후 약물 저항성 주요 우울증 환자의 뇌 기능 변화를 유도되며, 이는 ERP로 확인할 수 있었음.
