My name is Klud Zandani, and I am currently in my second semester at CRC. I am majoring in biology to hopefully one day be a ultrasound technician. As the first Female in my family to continue my education towards a degree, I feel I have to accomplish all that is possible to make my parents, who sacrificied so much to allow me to have these oppurtunities, proud. Completing this portfolio was a big part of my English class. Throughout the semester, I'd update it with the new projects in class, ultimately showing my progress through assignments. This portfolio is signficant as it helped me track my progress and allows one to see the step to curating a satisfactory paper. Throughout my English 300 course, I analyzed the many forms of writing, which allowed me to get creative in assignments. As a Yemeni-American, being bilingual in Arabic and English has allowed me to stay connected to my culture, communicate across different communities, and develop strong reading and writing skills in both languages.
