This should have been part of valedictory function (which never happened due to cricket match and dispersal of crowd after the event). Please pardon if your names have not been mentioned since it is a public website.

The organizing committee would like to thank the following people for the event

1. Participants - Thank you for being present in your event T-shirts and/or bibs to take part in the event. You have made this event possible with your tremendous response and support ! Hope you have enjoyed the event !

2. Volunteers (pre-event as well as event-day volunteers). Event day Registration volunteers needs special mention as they were in hot-seat for almost 45 minutes handling bib numbers and T-shirts to late registrants and on-site participants. One volunteer came all the way from Chennai, reached here at 5:40 AM, helped with registration desk, then participated in the RUN event, then drove back to Chennai. Your spirit is greatly appreciated. It is volunteers like these, who make such events possible !

3. Director IGCAR & Chairman KMC for approval for conducting the event in Kalpakkam township

4. Director MSG/MMG for giving the initial go-ahead to nucleate this event from MSG. We thank him for his support throughout the event. And also for being one of the first members to arrive at the venue (around 5:40 AM) ! Thank you Sir.

5. Director, RMG for his support in printing bib numbers and certificates. Also for being present on event day at 5:55 AM to take part in the event. Your presence is greatly appreciated.

6. Former Director CG, currently Ramanna Fellow for actively participating in the event. There is no doubt that you have won the walking event with your vigour pace ! (unfortunately, no prizes are announced for this year).

7. Sponsor MAPS: SD MAPS for agreeing to preside over the inauguration and also taking part in the event. We thank you for your support and also bringing in large number of MAPS participants to the event.

8. Sponsor BHAVINI: CMD Bhavini for his kind support to conduct the event.

9. Sponsor DAMU Constructions: For water bottle and refreshments. Thanks for the neat arrangement and effective distribution. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

10. The help of Hospital by providing ambulance with medical team is greatly appreciated. Their sheer presence made the participants feel safe and healthy.

11. Last but not the least, NESCO. President, Vice-President, Sports Secretary, General Secretary have played a mentoring role to us during the course of organizing this event. Without their ideas and support, organizing such an event would not have been possible. The untiring efforts of various members of NESCO are also acknowledged. Right from collecting registration prior to event, printing banners, stage arrangements, start-finish arrangements, use of NESCO office for refreshments distribution etc, their help is greatly appreciated.
